Osiyo (Cherokee greeting). I'm from Missouri where I enjoy retirement after 32 yrs teaching (secondary Communication Arts & Art). I paint in watercolors & acrylics. I'm a published illustrator (Ink N Beans Press) for a children's book, THE TRAVIS TALES authored by WDC's Rose Salsman aka rmsalsman. I enjoy traveling blue highways, hiking, and dancing in regalia at powwows. I'm honored with the Jan.2015 Golden Scroll Award for " A Cosmic Pledge"  [E], a 2013 Quills Award HM Winner for "Both Sides Of A Window"  [13+], and Angel Army Author of the Month, July 2016. Look for my respect for nature as inspiration.
