Growing up in a small town as an only child, I began writing when I was very young - a creative outlet for all the wacky information bouncing around inside my head. I can't write (or do much of anything else, for that matter) without music. It inspires me, triggers me into creative mode when I'm not quite there and sets the tone of my writing. I'm a hopelessly devoted mother to my four tenacious children. When I'm not writing, I can be found watching a terrible zombie flick, pretending to be an amateur photographer or curled up on the couch with my nose firmly planted in a good book.
