I am a spinster with cats, a fountain pen enthusiast, a book and music lover, and a force with which to be reckoned at Trivial Pursuit. I have been a secretary, a software tester, a costumed character at a Renaissance festival, a singer, and a musician. A casual writer, I began writing creatively when I was ten years old--thanks to the encouragement of my fourth grade teacher. I discovered that I really liked putting words on paper. Since then, I've been writing purely for my own amusement and the amusement of a few close friends who can be counted on not to make snarky comments behind my back.
