Summary of this Video Game...
Ratchet, Veldin's furry hero, and his partner in crime (not to mention, television star), Clank, explore new and old worlds, encountering hordes of Tyhrranoids. Coming together to form the 'Q-Force' are Ratchet & Clank, Helga, Big Al, Captain Qwark, and Skidd McMarxx (no Angela!). Ultimately, they must conquer the evil Dr. Nefarious and his plans to exterminate all organic life forms, or 'squishies'. Online play is now an option.
I especially liked... | ||
...the brand new weapons (no self-respecting R&C fan would fail to include that!), higher and more damaging weapon upgrades, ability to purchase different skin with bolts, and the arena battles. Weapons like the lava gun and the bouncer are better and stronger than ever, unlike Going Commando, where the invisigun and other weapons from the previous installment were weak beyond belief.
I didn't like... | ||
...that Angela Cross, the hero's cohort from Going Commando, isn't included in the third installment. I didn't much care for the intermittent Qwark video games either. They could have left them out and still maintained a cohesive storyline.
When I finished playing this Video Game I wanted to...
...play it a hundred more times in Challenge Mode.
This Video Game made me feel...
...proud to be a Ratchet & Clank fanatic.
I recommend this Video Game because...
...if you enjoy platform games, this is, in my opinion, the best there is to offer. It has action and adventure, stunning visuals, challenging gameplay, amazing weapons (not to mention mods and upgrades), an entertaining storyline, and a loveable hero and his AI sidekick. It's acceptable for children under 13 (though, some of the humor may be questionable). There is no blood or gore, nudity, or foul language.
Further Comments... | ||
I haven't attempted the online capabilities so I can't comment on that. Overall, Up Your Arsenal was worth the wait and went beyond my expectations. If you are a Ratchet & Clank fan and you have not played the third installment, what are you waiting for?
