Summary of this Book...
Twelve year-old Regan MacNeil in Georgetown, DC, is possessed by a demon. Her behavior starts to change, she swears obscenities that melted my heart, and it's purely terrifying. The doctors don't know what to do, her mom has no clue until she is exposed to the idea of an exorcism. Karras and Merrin are her only hope.
This type of Book is good for...
Horror and religious-horror lovers. Terrifying.
I especially liked...
The realism of it all, the terror, the feeling of unknowingness.
I didn't like...
The fact that this can actually happen and it brought realization to my eyes that this type of terror is real. (I'm Christain, so if you're not Christain, you don't have to believe in it, but it's based on a true event.)
When I finished reading this Book I wanted to...
Watch the movie, it's just as scary.
This Book made me feel...
Terrified.
The author of this Book...
William Peter Blatty
I recommend this Book because...
It's amazingly written and terrifying.
I don't recommend this Book because...
It's obscene and very graphic.
