Summary of this Book...
I have always had an interest in Jean Harlow and her life and movies. To me, she was the best film comedienne of all time. Her life was tragic and full of mystery. When I saw this book, I immediately purchased it as it was something new about Harlow. It is a fan fiction type of offering about her life, the author's interpretation of her first marriage and how fame engulfed and took over everything in her life. It is not really what happened, but is what the author imagined happened. Since her marriage to her first husband disintegrated pretty quickly, I had never thought about it much before. The book was not one that interested or engaged me. I was hoping for something, but I didn't find it here, although in writing fiction the author is more honest about what she is doing than some biographers of Ms. Harlow have been.
I don't recommend this Book because...
it just didn't have anything in it that interested me. I was bored after the first few chapters and didn't care to read on.
