Ethan Quinn, along with his brothers - adoptive brothers - has promised his father to take care of the boy, another misfit, and raise him as they were raised.

At first, he, just like Cam, had trouble adjusting his life's plans to accommodate a promise made, but along the way, he learns from the boy Seth as well as the boy learns from him and has to face his own past before he can be at peace with himself.

Grace has been in love with Ethan since she can remember and even though they've been friends forever, as she waited for him to make the first move, if he ever would, had married, had a little girl, and divorced.

With the new kid on the block, Seth, and the Quinn men taking care of him, Grace steps in to help out with the house, on top of everything else as a single mother and gets more than she bargained for.

While I loved the first book, Sea Swept, and Cam and Anna, I had doubts if I could enjoy this book just the same. Luckily, the second book brought another aspect of the Quinn's lives and I've loved every minute of it.

Once done, I picked up the next book in the saga.

Kudos to Nora Roberts for bringing such amazing characters to life. The men and their past as well as their struggles, were very much alive in my mind and I love reading books like that.

The Chesapeake Bay Saga is one of the rare beauties I've had the pleasure of reading and I hope you find the same joy when reading about their trials and joys.
