My name is Barbara, I am 15 years old, and I absolutely LOVE to write. I prefer to write poetry over stories (even though I write both). To me, poetry is music sung from the soul. It is a way anyone can express their emotions, problems, or even give advice. Some poems are stories within stories. Not many people understand them, which is why a lot my age(especially) do not like poetry. Though, I will admit I cannot understand all of the poems I read, I still enjoy reading them all!  |
| I am not the type of writer who constantly writes and writes. The only time I write is when an emotion does not let me be. |
| In my writing I like to express the emotion of the character(s). I want the reader to FEEL what the character(s) feels! |
| I love to write poetry and short stories. Not only do I write, but I enjoy traditional art. (drawing, painting, coloring, etc.) Music is a permanent part of my life. I LOVE IT! There isn't a day I do not enjoy a bit of music! I my best friends! |
