I'm a Derbyshire bloke born'n'bred. Now in my 50s (where did the time go?). At school I wasn't much for reading & writing; larking about with my mates and having fun was more my style. After all, we were all headed down the pit anyway. Wrong! The pits closed and unemployment skyrocketed. Being on the dole with no money, to speak of, I took to reading. I tried everything, even The Bible & Shakespeare; then I found Campbell, Herbert, & King. They stirred my imagination and I tapped the typewriter. |
I'm a horror writer: I find this the best genre to write about real people & real life. |
I try to keep this varied. I like the creepiness of the quiet style; I also love the gross out gore of splatterpunk. |
I love reading. It doesn't always have to be horror (which is good because King has moved away from it recently). I'm also a big film fan (that's right, I love BIG films). Thanks to Da I like photography & Art. Oh, I also love writing... |
