That's awesome that your son is one of the good ones that make a teacher's day. My wife is an educator and I can tell you from experience that those kids make it all worth it.
My closest Cracker Barrel is the better part of an hour away, courtesy of distance and traffic, so I don't visit often. I do enjoy their biscuits and gravy, though.
I went to a special olympics event in Grand Rapids. There were a lot of people there! Of course, I sit in the section of bleachers no one else is near. I was a bit lonely, but not too bad. I got to listen to my audio book while waiting. My son had three different events he was in and managed ribbons in two of them. I think they were giving ribbons to everybody.
