Day 44 Moving on to a new Game Series. Today's one is Radical Dreamers the Ending Theme from Chrono Cross... |
Day 43 Completing the trilogy of my favorite Xenosaga songs is Fatal Fight This is from Xenosaga II Jenseits von Gut und Böse. This was composed by Yuki Kajiura who took over for Yasunori Mitsuda for the second game in the series. |
Day 42 Continue with the Xeno series. Here is another song from Xenosaga Episode. Once again beautifully composed by Yasunori Mitsuda, this song Pain is the counterpart to Kokoro from yesterday... |
Day 41 Moving Deeper into the Xenogears series ... here is another song from its prequel Xenosaga 1. The title of the song is "Kokoro" which is the Japanese word for Heart. Classic composer Yasunori Mitsuda returned from Xenogears to compose this. |
Day 40 Following up on Yesterday post... This was the other classic Xenogears soundtrack song |
Day 39 Another Videogame Ending Song today/. This one is from the Videogame Xenogears It's a beautiful song from one of the classic videogame music composers Yasunori Mitsuda. |
Day 38 I'm moving from one videogame ending song song to another... This one is from Castlevania Symphony of the Night. One of my favorite Videogames of all time... This ending song is divided among Castlevania fans with some feeling that it doesn't go with game well. I'm in the other camp and really like the song very much. It is sweet and jazzy. Symphony of the Night had multiple endings so a player winds up listening to this one multiple times. It definitely sticks in your head. |
Day 37 This is a follow up to my last entry. Prince of Persia fans would recognized this one used as the ending number for Warrior Within... It rocked so hard!! |
Day 36 I did finish the Devil May Cry anime today. It was pretty good. It's hard to think of a song that would top Devil Never Cry from Yesterday. I went with another Heavy Metal classic from Prince of Persion Warrior Within... |
I didn't quite finish Devil May Cry this weekend yet but will probably complete it later this week. The couple of episodes I saw were really good. The ending theme used in the anime uses the chorus of the song "Devil Never Cry". The song is actually taken from the video game Devil May Cry three. In the game the song has additional rock segments that accompany the Chorus Here is the full version of the song for your listening pleasure: |
