When someone is just starting out, they look to others for an example of what to do, whether they're acquiring a new hobby, learning a trick, or trying something new. Eventually, though, one gets to the point where they need to start figuring things out for themselves.

Throughout the entirety of our lives, the vast majority of us can only say that one person will always be with us there to the end, whether we want it or not. That person is our self. Some people who are religious or spiritual will also include deities or higher beings not in the concrete world. Everything within our world decays over time, and I think a lot of people desire to have something stable to hold on to, some guide to follow.

Sorry for my ramble, I really enjoyed reading this! I'm into philosophy and like hearing people share their thoughts on the world around them. I look forward to reading more works from you in the future.

One small comment on grammar:
A sentence that starts with a number must have the number written out. So instead of saying, "20 years ago..." you would say, "Twenty years ago..."

I personally believe that people do have inherent value simply for being alive. While I might have more well wishes for someone that helps others and is generous than someone that hurts others, I don't necessarily believe that the "good" person is more deserving of life than the "bad" person.

I wouldn't consider myself religious, but I don't feel that I'm saying this from a position of self-love either. It might've been born out of seeing the hatred and contempt humans may hold for each other in this world. If I can hate someone without knowing a single thing about them beyond what I can see, then I think I can love someone for being alive. I value the people around me for having opinions and thoughts and likes and dislikes and desires.

It was nice to read your thoughts. Write on.

A couple of spelling errors, but I liked the poem overall! The word/absurd rhyme felt a bit forced, but of course I'm not an "expert" in poetry, and that could be me. Maybe if the fourth line lead into the fifth line rather than continuing the sentence from the third line.

I like how it ends, it's clear and everything gets wrapped up neatly. Keep writing!

I really enjoyed this work. The feeling described is one that I am very familiar with, as a master procrastinator with way too many ideas in my head. I also notice the implication that this occurs regularly, with how the ending sentence leads into the first one. I think the layout of the work could've been improved for smoother flow and easier readability, but overall, this was a very nice read. *Jamming*
