Question: Is this about what you believe a man needs in general or what you, yourself needs? I truly agree with the first need, respect is the absolute foundation of a relationship. Both parties have to have both respect for themselves in general.
Number 2, I can't say that I agree. Some men like to have their, "guy time" when it comes to sports events and such. Couples also need time apart as well to have their own activities and interests. Again, I don't know if this is being written from a personal view or just a generalization.
Number 3, Sex obviously very important. Affection is everything, maintaining that affection and attraction.
Overall I thought this was well written and if it were written by your personal standards of what a man needs, you sound like a walk in the park. Not many men these days can be so content with three main needs, that is 100% admirable.
Lately my funds have been very low, I have been working two jobs and barely making ends meet. Writing is my only escape, I would hate to have to give up the opportunity to network with some of the most accomplished and radiant newbie's because Being creative and expressive comes with a fee i cannot bear to endure.
Writing is my purpose, my distraction and my reality.
This was very funny, well written and you did an amazing job in organizing the dialog between Chester and yourself. I love a good witty post! Great job, keep up the good work, also amazing title to complement the content of this post!
Aw this is really beautiful, very descriptive i feel as though i am right there with you in the park, i baby sit a two year old and we spend a lot of time at the park! Very cute, well written … it is apparent how much you are enjoying motherhood.
Loved this, connection starts with eye contact. Passion is apparent when two people cannot seem to take their eyes off each other, as if no one else in the room could even attempt to break their trance. Your words describe not only true lust, lust passion as well.
Great story to share, inspiring, well written and rather humorous! Oh and screw Bennie. Bennie is a dime a dozen unfortunately people don't do their job. I have been freelancing for over a year and not only is getting work a challenge, getting paid after you finish your end of the deal is even harder. Struggled through hunger pains, had my phone shut off multiple times, always late on rent all because no one could hold up to their end of the bargain. I'm glad you came out on top. Congrats on your success.
At first i wasn't really sure of the direction in which this piece was headed, but It was clear by the end of it, a hard lesson learned. Pretty funny, i enjoyed the unexpected twist at the end of it. There are a few spelling error's nothing that can't be fixed in under a minutes time. Not the best speller myself, so no judgement.
This was incredibly admirable of you to put your experiences into words & share them with others. I lost my younger brother in August to a heroin overdose, i found him myself and my life over the past couple of months has been painful and I can empathize with your pain and the experience of losing your brother, but when i look at my parent's and what they go through daily dealing with the death of their son i can only imagine it's ten times worse. I am so so sorry that you had to experience such a set of unimaginable experiences. But your ability to get on here and share them with others is a strong admirable thing, your very talented and from what i have come to find out through experience tragedy lurks behind every successfully, creative human being. Because once you have endured such horror, you lose the fear of judgement from others because it is so small in comparison.
I just want you to know that i spent all day in m brothers room crying, searching this website for relation & stories to keep me going through the day, people that have overcome such pain & you are an amazing person and writer.
Beautiful, I can relate with your words. I lost my younger brother in August & I know exactly the ways in which you feel broken. This poem is Fearless & Brave, well done.
Amazing, I feel exactly the same way. What an accurate, accurate depiction of life as a young adult in today's economy. Great work, soulful and honest.
I think this is amazing, relating to one of my favorite Andy Warhol quotes "Fantasy love is much better than reality love. Never doing it is very exciting. The most exciting attractions are between two opposites that never meet." Sometimes something appears to be something that it isn't and you captured that feeling perfectly. When you want real love, nothing else will do. Well written.
I think this is truly touching, having just lost my younger sibling in August I understand how hard carrying out traditions can be, we did not put the Christmas tree up this year, but through your words I could feel exactly how I might feel when I decide to put up that Christmas tree in the future. Beautifully written, very appreciative.
