GREETINGS! As I have an interest in the Templar lore your title grabbed my interest. My only question concerns European / French firefighting techniques. As a former volunteer firefighter in the United States, we would not have approached a vehicle (wagon) with a load of wood and only had extinguishers. A hose line with water would be a more normal choice in the States. One other minor item is the staffing level on your vehicle. Three? With a paid department? Maybe there were more with the vehicle and three approached with the extinguishers?
When I started the read it was not for the firefighting. A casual reader would have little interest in nor concern with the firefighting. Without past experience the extinguishing would not have a second thought. The rest has me interested in reading more. Thank you!
Having a pre-hospital background and a parent that was in a skilled nursing home, I found this read to be realistic and brought back accurate, if uncomfortable memories of things seen. I looked for a button for the next page - I want a continuation. I want to find out who they were and what was happening. How far can this conspiracy go? Where will it lead? Inquiring minds NEED to know!
If you have not already planned the next chapter, I urge you to do so. Thank you!
Season's GREETINGS! I am an EMT instructor at a community college. I have been is EMS and fire as a volunteer for over 29 years. I really enjoyed your story. If I may, and even if you say okay I'm not sure how to do it, I would like to share this story with both my Basic EMT courses and the Intermediate EMT course. Even without the permission, I personnally enjoyed your reflections. Thanks for sharing!
