Hi, Deziray and welcome to our writing corner on the web, WDC. I am reviewing your Poem "Promises" For the first reading of your writing craft, I know that you are a deep and lovely woman who feels and loves deeply. It was beautiful and what a tribute to what you feel for this man you call your husband. Treasure him always and may your days be happy even when the tide of storms comes, battle through, and come out safe in the knowledge that you love each other as this moment in time tells us.
Well done and may we see much more of your talent.
Little notes: And let’s face it our wondering souls have (wandered} into each other’s lives for a reason. You have wondered?
Hi Carly, we meet again in the halls of! I write in 2021 Now that is a coincidence.
I am reviewing your poem "The Gift of Laughter and Fun"
In desolate and quiet times folk has the hunger for fun. You have a fantasy take on what's happening in our world today. We see people flouting rules during a pandemic time and going underground to party and have some fun. He gets caught and pleads his case, I see a solution to this madness.
Humans were not made to be locked away but to breathe the joy of living in peace with one another.
A nice write.

Good morning Ani, I am reviewing your poem "Missing"
This poem gave me an injection of knowledge from the view of a person who had lost a limb. The stark reality hit me when I saw from the mind of one who had this missing limb. I have had my tragedies and losses in this life but have never seen them from this point of view. The lens of limbless person thoughts stopped me for a moment to see as he/she sees. My own injuries are healing and time will repair the damage but getting into the skin of this person's story gave me new waves of thought. Insight is an amazing gift and you used it here with your writing.

Hello Anni, I am reviewing your poem "Corona"
You exceptionally characterized the accuracy of Corona. The king of standstill most certainly has brought the world to its knees as never before in our lifetime. Laughter hides the slaughter, so direct and such knife pointedly true. The three blind mice, Ignorance, stupidity, and denial of what is happening, causing the spread of this invisible silent killer.
A good first poem Anni. I personally would not put capitals on every line, but that's just me. I enjoyed reading this and look forward to more.
Wow! is a good start. You r have been privileged to travel to many countries after your children have flown the nest, I know how this feels as I did the same thing.
First, the terror attacks in India which the whole world watched on TV. Then the Tsunami on the 26th December 2004 which killed many souls and changed so many lives. Both of these disasters you missed by hours or days.
Then your flight from Manila to the island of Cebu and your anguish that it might end in disaster because of the storm, weather, but intersession came along and saved you all from an impending disaster once more.
This and many other small insignificant miracles are performed in our life every day. some we don't even notice and others that we raise our spirit and thank our Lord that he sent Angels to lift us up and stop us from hurting our feet on the stones. What a father we have!
Your story tells of these remarkable near misses as you traveled and I can relate to them from my own near-misses that God saved me from.
One small error ( n the light of day should be In)
I enjoyed reading your story and gave thanks with a grateful heart to our God for his mercy on your lives.
(Psalm 91 says it all, it is one of my favorite Psalms, the verses, A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you, only with your eyes shall you look.)
Applaud, 👀👌 well, did you achieve those goals in 2003? I believe you have exceeded them. You are a star. and your in the newsletter this week Woop!

Shout it from the mountain tops scripture
"Shout it, go on and scream it from the mountains, go on and tell it to the masses, that He is God. If only they knew the gift that God has for everyone, they too would shout it from the mountain tops. Prayer opens heaven.
Amen.
Blessings Brother in Christ our Lord.

Hi Gervic, I am reviewing your poem "Sunset"
You truly painted the picture of Sunset with your carefully chosen words in this poem.
I felt at peace and sat on the beach taking in your descriptions of the scene.
Gulls shoot like arrows piercing through crimson skies
They leave the fields in a rush and raucous byes.
I lie on the strand and watch the shift of scene
Of nature's grandest display in a widescreen.
Tiny folds... an expression of water shushing gently in the evenings close. Beautiful.
Tickles your feet like a breath from the breeze Awe.
Hi Penny, as promised I am reviewing your first poem "The winter has come " Its a great start.
Sounds like you prefer the warmth of Autumn to winter. Hiking and crushing leaves beneath your feet, I like that. Lol, I know how you fell having to dress in layers it does keep the cold out though.
A nice poem expressing your feeling about the seasonal changes between Autumn and winter written in freestyle.
Looking forward to reading more of your work Penny.
(Put God first in everything you do) are the words that remind me every morning. I read your blog article GB, and find it interesting. HE never ceases to amaze me each new day. If we go our own way before consulting our Father then like a naughty child we can get into trouble.
I am always reminded when the men dragged a woman who committed adultery to Jesus and told him she should be stoned...
Jesus didn't answer them straight away, instead, he wrote with a stick on the ground for a bit. I believe he was in a talk with His Father about the situation. Then Jesus looked up and told the mob that he who hadn't sinned should throw the first stone and you know what happened. None of the mob were left and Jesus told the woman Mary Magdalin to go and sin no more.
Jesus asked our Father what to do and this is such a lesson to us. The devil prowls around seeking who he can devour but we have a God who loves us and we MUST consult him every day before we go and make the day.
Good afternoon Aldrich Welcome to WDC. I am no aware who you are as you have not set up your biography. I am reviewing your short story "Heir of the Land of Tears"
I was captivated from almost the beginning and found this an interesting start to what could be quite a story unfolding.
Your character is held captive by a male person and she is planning her escape. I would like to see where this story could go.
Grammatically it has no problems and your writing is complementary to the author.
I hope your are enjoying WDC as we are family here.
A great start, I would love to know more about the person behind this interesting writing.
Hi Beholden, congratulations on your win. After reading your piece about Kynance Cove near Helston it pulled at the strings of my heart. I have been mostly all over Cornwall for many years it has been my vacation home, but I must visit this cove next time. It does sound like one of Cornwalls Jewels.
Hi Sumojo, this is a review of your short fiction. "Blinded by love"
How tragic for your character to have blindness with the way it happened. Then there is her boyfriend, she is so excited to introduce him to her family. Next, you bring in the punch he is wanted by the police, that was a surprise ending.
I enjoyed reading your work and compliments to the author.
Hi Lilli J --- I am reviewing your poem/story "Alone"
Well, where do I start, maybe wipe away the tears of my heart? You poured your soul into this poem and I felt your weakness.
It is a sinking, drowning spirit that wrote this piece and I applaud the character for the reality of her feelings, nothing left to give blending with scared feelings.
lol Quite a funny tragic story, but I enjoyed reading it. It didn't really happen, did it? Oh, well, if it was real then I gather you found your way by taking the lead and steering the stead.ed again. It was an interesting story norma Jean.

Hi A J Burchell, I am reviewing your fifty-word fiction. "Green"
This is a great take on fifty words and also remarkable how the grasshopper becomes the character and describes his world, bravo, great thought, and great writing.
Most enjoyable and a worthy author.

Hi Robert, I am reviewing your poem "Week 6 - W/E 7/12/20" for "Promptly Poetry Challenge (2024-2025)"
An Unexpected Door is cleverly written as a Rymethor form.
The door is prompt and you handled it with your usual ease. I like your relaxed style about what the door is with the last line leaving a mystery and beware.
Well written.

Good morning Alexandra from the UK I am reviewing your Dear me, entry."Dear Me"
This is a promise to yourself to fulfill, a step in the right direction. I hope you are doing what it says on the page. I am one to talk, I haven't done my bit yet, but Nano coming up. I promise myself.
I want to encourage you to do as it is for you and no one else.
