I came across your Christmas themed Word Search puzzle on the Browse By Type option at the side bar on the left. Yours was right on top, so I decided to tackle it.
Overall Thoughts:
Although I have been solving Thanksgiving Puzzles recently, I just couldn't resist doing a Christmas one at this time. It raises the spirits and joy of the holidays ahead.
I loved this puzzle for so many reasons!
It does have all those words we associate with Christmas such as Santa, Mrs Claus, Frosty, Rudolph, various gift wrap and ornaments to name a few.
However ...you have woven in beautifully the true reason for the season. I love that you included the more Biblical side with Jesus Christ, and the Three Wise Men, Holy Night and family of course.
Parting Thoughts:
Your puzzle contained 25 words to uncover on the tile. Most of them were easily found. A couple small words hid a little such as star, jolly and gifts. But I found them all and solved the puzzle.
Suggestion:
I think this puzzle would be more attractive to players if you added an intro above the puzzle or an image of Christmas. I mean the title will attract those in the mood for holiday joy. But, an image when the page is opened will add to that joy.
I did not rate down for this. I'm here for the game. It's merely a suggestion. The puzzle was perfect with its mix of words to uncover.
Conclusion:
This was very enjoyable. It's a feel good puzzle that reminds us Christmas is just around the corner.
Until next time--puzzle on!

Thank you for your Thanksgiving/Autumn Word Search Puzzle. You know how much I love them.
My Thoughts:
I enjoyed the blend of Puritans, Mayflower, Indigenous and all the good and thankful things that they represent.
I think it's a wonderful idea to place a Bible quote in the introduction as you suggested above.
The puzzle consisted of 15 words to uncover. What I have been trying to do with these puzzles is to uncover the shorter words first so they don't hide to deeply in the puzzle. Therefore, "pie" was my first find to get out of the way.
Further Thoughts:
The beauty of autumn comes through with leaves. Living in New England during the foliage peak is breathtaking. Just mentioning "leaves" brought me magically back to those days with my trees going through the changing colors. Of course, now that, that part of autumn is over, I start my packing to go South.
Blessed indeed. I feel that way as Thanksgiving approaches. The warmth of the season with laughter, sharing a table with loved ones and friends --it's a beautiful thing.
Conclusion:
Lovely puzzle! Thank ou for bringing my attention to it.
Until next time--puzzle on!

Thank you for creating this wonderful Thanksgiving Word Search puzzle and replying to my request on the Newsfeed. I appreciate it. As you may know from Halloween, I've been searching for time of year type puzzles. Thanks giving is one of the best holidays there is. It's a time for family, friends, food and thanks for all those blessings.
Further Thoughts:
A few of your favorite things do cross over with some of my favorite things. I mean the usual table fare, a turkey, gravy, stuffing, yams and potatoes are traditional favs. However, I like your additions of spiral ham, mac and cheese, casseroles ... it seems I'm not the only one who loves Honeybaked Ham, shop.
Parting Thoughts:
I love your Thanksgiving word search menu. It's difficult working through uncovering these delicious words without getting hungry. I picture a beautiful Thanksgiving table with all the finest laid out to bring a festive feeling to it.
The puzzle itself consisted of 25 delicious words having to do with the THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY. (Sorry, I hit cap lock by a slip of finger. It looks pretty, though, so I'll leave it there. ) Of course, there was the little trap with cornbread being uncovered early on it the solving, since "corn" was a stand alone word as well and one needs to be aware that it is hidden within the already solved cornbread. Must hit that word corn twice to make it stick.
Conclusion:
I really enjoyed your puzzle. Thanks again for creating it for me to enjoy.
Surprise! Well, look at what I found today. I guess you read my mind?
Let's Jump Right In:
Firstly I loved the introduction you put above the puzzle. It gives the reader/player a bit of historical background about that time when the Natives and the Pilgrims sat together for a meal. Fellowship and friendship -- what could be more appropriate for the giving of thanks.
Further Thoughts:
Your puzzle consisted of 25 Thanksgiving related words to uncover on the tile. It's a good thing I just ate or else I'd be drooling over table fare before my eyes. Talk about an eye feast! I mean the whole meal is there except for the turkey itself. You got the stuffing and cranberries and gravy ... but what to put it with? However, there was a gobble, so the turkey's position on the platter is understood.
Parting Thoughts:
I'm glad I don't have a sweet tooth. Those pies would wreak havoc on my waistline!
This is a fine puzzle to welcome in the Thanksgiving holiday. I enjoyed it thoroughly. The last word I found was "nuts," one of two 4-letter words. I'm usually good with 4-letter words, so this was surprising!
Conclusion:
Great job!
Until next time--puzzle on!

I found this Word Search puzzle as I was looking for ones that celebrate Thanksgiving. This one fit the bill.
Initial Thoughts:
I'm so looking forward to Thanksgiving and the start of the holidays. So this is a wonderful treat.
Further Thoughts:
You have a full 25 word puzzle about things having to do with Thanksgiving. I enjoyed uncovering all those words that remind me of food, family and fun.
Mayflower is a great choice of words to throw into the puzzle. That's going back to the beginning. Pilgrims and Natives working together. It was a special time and learning experience for the Pilgrims.
Parting Thoughts:
Travel, yes, it's all part of family meeting up with family for a huge feast. I'll be traveling soon so that I can be settled in when Thanksgiving comes. It's different in Florida from New England, but cold weather is not necessary to make it special and share it with friends and loved ones.
Conclusion:
This was a fun word search puzzle. It was tasty, too with the cranberries, turkey and pumpkin pie!
Good job!
Until next time-- Puzzle on!

Review!
I found this Word Search puzzle using the Browse By Type option and then randomly chose a page to see where it would take me. Well, here I am.
Overall Thoughts:
I know winter is coming. In fact, tonight in New England thr car temperature said 35 degrees. Yes, thoughts of snow fall, snow angels, snowmen and snowflakes are just around the corner. And so is Christmas!
Further Thoughts:
Your 17 word puzzle had those words as well as several more that bring our thoughts to winter. But, the fun stuff is woven in as well ...Gingerbread men comes to mind.
Parting Thoughts/Conclusion:
Yes, it's holiday time as winter approaches. Pine trees with their wonderful scent. You paint some vivid pictures in my mind about the things we enjoy in a winter wonderland.
I bet you didn't expect to see me here.
Great introduction above the puzzle. Made me want to jump right in!
General Thoughts:
First of all, thank you for responding to my newsfeed tease. I'm definitely getting into the Thanksgiving mood.
You've chosen some memorable words to weave into the puzzle. I like the list of things enjoyed by family and friends. The leftovers hit high marks on the weekend after. Turkey sandwiches ... Hot turkey sandwiches with stuffing and cranberry sauce stuffed into the sandwich. But I digress.
"No room in the fridge," That is a common issue all over America. I spend Thanksgiving in Florida, and the fridge there is way smaller than the one I have here in New England.
Further Thoughts:
Your puzzle consists of 25 words to uncover. There were several long words. Those I seem to find pretty quick. However, if you put the word "pie" in by itself among all those long words, I'd probably still be looking for that slice!
Conclusion:
"Food coma" says it all. This is a hearth and home holiday, well, except in Florida ... No need for a hearth.
Great job! I'm sending you some GPs for your response on my newsfeed request.
Happy Thanksgiving Month!
Until next time--puzzle on! Think ahead, Christmas is coming!

Review!
I was looking for a Thanksgiving type word search puzzle to bring the holiday spirit in. I love this time of year.
Let's Jump Right In:
If a puzzle can make you hungry, this is the one. My mind was enmeshed in the Thanksgiving table and all the tasty treats.
My Guess:
Your question above asked what the puzzle is about, and that it has something to do with Thanksgiving. According to your chosen words on the tile, my guess is Pumpkin Pie. There are spices in the words to uncover and whipped cream to go on top.
I know this is an older puzzle and the challenge offered isn't still alive, but I enjoyed solving it. I love the images of the Thanksgiving feast that comes to my eyes with little reminders like this puzzle. Everyone awaits the dessert!
Parting Thoughts:
I'm glad I found this puzzle to solve. It's such a lovely time of year and reason to give thanks.
Conclusion:
I came across this recently created Word Search Puzzle.
My Thoughts:
I liked the randomness of the puzzle. It seems you have to search harder for a theme that has nor particular attachment. It is a good puzzle to play after Halloween and all the horror themes during October. Although I have to admit ...I really enjoyed that month! I guess I'll be looking for holiday puzzles, now.
Further Thoughts:
As I began to solve the puzzle, I hit a link that took me away from this page. Probably due to carpel tunnel syndrome. Got to watch those trigger fingers! I came back to start this puzzle over and found it slightly easier due to the random switch each time you run the word search again. It was a quicker solve this time even though it contained a few words that were hidden within the already solved words. I'm starting to notice those those hidden treats faster.
Parting Thoughts:
This was a fun puzzle to work. It was a good distraction from the same old daily routine.
Conclusion:
Good job!
Until next time--puzzle on!

Review!
I am also reviewing your entry as a judge at "The Bard's Hall Contest" . Thank you for entering our October Something Horror, contest.
Initial Thoughts:
Your opening paragraph is very strong. Windy, Hard to breathe, almost swept off feet, dark snowy road ...Yeah, as a reader I want to continue down this path to see what happens, next.
Rules Followed:
The story weaves in the Poe stories, The Masque of the Red Death and Hop-Frog. Thus, that part of the Rules was done.
Where was the narrator taken? transported to something like a dark, shadowy stage.
Word Count given and within the limit? 1,073
End with "Lord help my soul!"
Further Thoughts:
You wove in the weird and creepy that combined the two stories. The masquerade, the presence of the "Red Death" disease brought horror as people infected died in their own blood. (Sounds like Ebola long before that disease was named.) I have read where it's Poe's imagination writing in this disease. How very Poe-ish of him! He was way ahead of his time in predicting such horrors.
Parting Thoughts:
The narrator did manage to be sent back to the gravestone where the time travel started.
You decided to have Poe say the words from the grave, "Lord help my soul!" Poe regretted not writing in some redemption in his stories. He lives as a lonely, doomed spirit.

Review!
I am also reviewing your entry as a judge at "The Bard's Hall Contest" Thank you for entering our October Something Horror Contest.
First Impression:
I loved the opening of the story. The screech of the metal gates being opened, the alabaster statues, the crunching grass... all bring forth images that are creepy and promise to get even more frightful thereafter.
Further Thoughts:
This is humorous, the addition of cognac and the how it travels to the ground when consumed by a ghost.
The appearance in a room with bed and window and floorboards, the sound of a beating heart, let the reader know there was a transportation into the story The Tell-Tale Heart.
Observation:
"After searching for half the night, I finally found it. After pulling out a bottle of cognac and three black roses, I set them down on top of the dirt." Repeat of "after" in two consecutive sentence starts.
Parting Thoughts:
The ending was quite horrifying and so Poe!
Conclusion:
You did a good job with the prompt, and it was tightly written. I like that.
I found your word search puzzle on the Browse By Type option over on the left. It was on that first page I pulled up. I have to admit, it's Halloween and I was looking for creepy, horror or Halloween type puzzles. But, I guess I ran through most of them, recently.
My Thoughts:
This was a fun puzzle consisting of 17 words to uncover on the tile. I found it a little slow starting because there were many empty spaces on the tile. That means, you made me sweat for awhile as I searched for those things having to do with things you'd find at a park. Yeah, It's the time of year where we are thinking about holidays to come, but, it was a refreshing change to take my mood out of Halloween. Oh, my! Did I really say that? I love Halloween!
Parting Thoughts:
Once I got going it was easier to find some of those hidden treasures. The key is to keep a watchful eye on those words that contain another part of the puzzle within them. Here, "people having fun" was solved before "people" thus I had to realize that and highlight over the people part again, for it to count.
Conclusion:
Good job! I enjoyed this little brain rteaser!
Until next time--puzzle on!

Thank you for dropping the link to this Sweet Word Search puzzle on the Newsfeed.
Let's Dig Right IN:
Yes, you have hit the main Halloween theme for Trick-or-Treaters ...CANDY! And you know something? I am full on with that. In fact, I buy full-sized candy bars to give to the children --and for a small, rural town, we have a lot of kids coming around. I think they actually come in from other towns. However, I am prepared with 200+ candy bars plus various other candies as back up should I run out of those. It takes a month before of buying them and hiding them from those who would let there sweet tooth get the better of them before Halloween. (No, not me. I don't have a sweet tooth. )
Your Puzzle contain 25 words to uncover. They included both sweet and sour selections of candies, as well as other delights of Halloween time, such as pumpkin lattes, bobbing for apples, not to mention popcorn balls! Oops, I did mention it didn't I?
Parting Thoughts:
I really loved this last Word Search puzzle of the Halloween season. It does bring to mind all those children in costumes gingerly approaching this witch house for a candy bar. What they'll endure for that candy ... my place is scary. Conclusion:
It's a Great puzzle to bring out the best part of Halloween ...giving out candy to the kids!
Until Next Year... Thanks for the Halloween/Horror Puzzles! It's been fun!

Review!
I agree with your enthusiasm about birds, especially when traveling or moving to a different area. I have moved many times, actually I lived in 4 time zones across the county. I had such an interest in bird watching and photography. I have captured so many little beauties with my camera on these bird watching hikes.
This Lovely and Light as a Feather Puzzle:
This puzzle consists of 25 words, all containing names of various birds. I enjoyed searching them out. This time I did it without a camera in hand. I have seen all of the named birds, but instead of Whooping Crane, I see Sandhill Cranes all over Florida. Being a snowbird, I get best of both world birds, New England and Florida.
Further Thoughts:
The puzzle was moderately easy for a level of difficulty. Most were easy to find. A couple kept me searching a little harder. But in the end, I uncovered them all.
Parting Thoughts/Conclusion:
I'm glad I came across this puzzle consisting of one of my favorite hobbies -- bird watching. I could picture them as I was finding them on the tile. Now, I'm anxious to get back to the walks in the woods, or by the shore, to see those beautiful species, even more.
Hi iKïyå§ama
Okay, you sucked me into this quiz with your Newsfeed post. I usually pass-up quizzes and crosswords because I feel they are too much work. But this one? I had to bite!
What I loved:
I loved the intense Stephen King fan questions.
What I dreaded:
I dreaded my memory would fail me and I'd make a Cujo's butt out of myself.
What happened in reality:
I'd say I was well planted in the Pet Cemetery. Okay, not that drastic! I received 80%, kudos, I'm all that, etc. ... that's not cool with me. I like to be an overachiever on these pop quizzes. What do I do? Do I spend miles of finger pounding on the internet to get the correct answers? I could. I'm easy. But you know, I'll take my meager 80% and go home and cry. The fortune cookie? Why did I think of spider when it was fly?
Parting Thoughts:
Me, aside...this was fantastic! The questions were great. They weren't too easy, especially if you've been away from the subject matter within.
Conclusion:
Kudos! Not to be confused with "Cujo." This was a fun brain teaser! Thanks for dropping the link!
Until next time--King-ON!

In my pursuit for Horror-type Word Search puzzles, I came across this little gem. It's been hidden in here for awhile, 2006, but it is so appropriate around this time of year.
Let's Jump Right In:
Oh, I love this puzzle filled with the horrifying world of Stephen King. A most frightening author of books that made us keep the lights on at night.
I like your intro image. It really makes a reader want to come right in and enjoy the horror show.
This is a 25 word search puzzle filled with some of the beloved Stephen King titles. I enjoyed uncovering each and every one of them.
You're chosen some great titles. Many of which weren't in other S. King puzzles I've solved. Way to go with creativity in putting this together.
Parting Thoughts/Conclusion:
This was some horrifying fun. It brought many scenes to my mind as I uncovered the words on the tile. Dreams and nightmares all rolled into one fun game. It was entertaining, and, hey, I'm here for that and the mind distraction from various other chores needing to be done. So for me ... this was perfect!
Good job!

I saw you posted this on the newsfeed the other day. I was saving it up for a lull in the Horror/Scary Word Searches. I think I've hit all of those for the time being. This is a pleasant change of pace.
Jumping Right In:
Yes, there are so many old time favorites listed in this Soap Opera puzzle. Gosh, you took me way back to Peyton Place. MY mother loved that one.
The ones I couldn't miss, though, were Dallas and Falcon Crest for the weekly nighttime Soaps. As for Daytime Soaps, I was the Ryan's Hope, followed by All My Children then One Life To Live, and of course the best of the line-up, General Hospital. Of course, the invention of VCR players helped. Before that there were videotapes. I believe the popularity of Soap Operas pushed the necessity of those copying devices to be able to watch our programs outside school and work hours.
Parting Thoughts:
This was a fun puzzle to solve. My mind flashed on several scenes from those old favorites. Then one day, I just had to let the Daily ones go. I was so busy, I couldn't catch up with them even on recorder. But then, I came across a favorite one when I was home and just put it on live. Who'd have thought I could follow the story line years after I had dropped them. Ah, the slow moving clock handles built into Soaps.
Conclusion:
I really loved uncovering this puzzle. It brought back so many memories of youth, and not so youthful times.

What Brought Me Here?
I believe you mentioned when looking for reviews on the Newsfeed, that you had received some reviews of your items by a on-star hit and run reviewer. I stopped by to review this story since I got caught up on other stuff needing to be finished.
Overall Thoughts:
I have read this story and was completely immersed in the action and the battle against brutal beings in this sci-fi work. I like your Wolfess, Zena!
Further Thoughts:
Your story is filled with vivid imagery and picturesque characters that a reader could see clearly.
The battles fought by Zena only clarified her strength and spirit and great resolve. She is definitely a very strong character that you've given life to.
Parting Thoughts:
Zena on the hunt is obviously unstoppable.
I believe this story was unfairly rated and intend to help remedy that with my rating.

Review!
I am reviewing this item in response to one of your review requests on the Newsfeed.
Overall Thoughts:
This is a very seasonal puzzle. It brings the warmth and joy of Christmastime. The scent of pine in the air and the jingle of sleigh bells delight young and old alike.
This puzzle was based on the old Clement Clarke Moore's Christmas poem "A Visit from St. Nicholas." It is more familiarly dubbed: 'Twas the Night Before Christmas.
Your puzzle consisted of 27 clues which mostly fell into place as the poem played out in my head. Well, there were moments that I had to refresh my mind on since my children all grew up. I don't recite it now. I just cook and bake my way through the holidays.
Parting Thoughts:
I enjoyed reliving these warm family moments when the kids were young and their eyes were filled with all the magic that Christmas brings.
Thank you for dropping the link of your word search puzzle for me on the Newsfeed.
Let's Dig In:
Your puzzle consisted of 25 words to uncover. They all pertain to zombie invasion and what can be done to stop them.
This tile was huge! The words nestled in there as if they would surprise attack the player at any minute.
It took a good bit of brain power to uncover everything. However, the hardest one to find was "slow." No kidding, I admit to being slow on finding "slow." That one consumed time. I think because there were so many spaces left on the tile after everything else was found, it just kept me searching for every "W" I could find. Finally, I found the little bugger. If I was being pursued by zombies, and my life depended on completing this puzzle asap, for sure I would have been bitten.
Oh the horrors!!!
Conclusion:
Great job keeping me on the run!
Until next time--Puzzle on!

I love me some Stephen King novels and movies. I immersed myself into the tile, until I came out victorious after finding all the titles!
The Puzzle:
You picked some good choices to highlight in this 25 word-search puzzle. I found the titles starting with "the" got me someplace fast. However, knowing how difficult it is to find those tiny words, I went for "It" first, so it wouldn't get too hidden within the horror-laced puzzle.
Parting Thoughts:
Yes, Stephen is the master of horror books. The movies had their drawbacks, some much better than others. I used to dislike when they took his shorter stories and made them for TV. One example is The Langoliers. That could have been shown in one a one night movie rather than sticking in lots of filler to get folks glued to TV more than one night while putting up with copious commercials.
Conclusion:
Always fun spending time with a such a master of horror, especially this time of year.
Good job!

A little raven told me you created another Halloween/Horror Word Search puzzle. Listening to ravens as much as possible, I found my way here.
Let's get to it:
25 horror-filled words to find pertaining to various ghosts, ghouls, witches and werewolves splattered all over the tile. What could be more appropriate for the season?
Included in the search were some favorite movies such as Friday The Thirteenth, Mummy and a must see slasher film ...Chainsaw! All the spine tingling moments of screams and popcorn being tossed all over in an attempt to cover eyes and ears.
Furthermore:
We can go furthermore for evermore if we wish as creators of these puzzles. So much fun and goosebumps written into a tile filled with scary moments while watching or reading about these infamous characters.
Parting Thoughts:
The puzzle was an interesting solve since a couple short words were hidden within the longer ones. I'm getting pretty good at finding those little buggers lately.
I came across your poem perusing the Public Reviews page.
My Thoughts:
Your title and brief description pulled me in. I have been a traveler, even living in 4 time zones, so I can relate to this poem.
Further Thoughts:
The free verse poetry paints a vivid picture of the brief stop at a cheap hotel and taking in the local color as quick as a flash, before feeling it would not be a good stay for you. Especially at 4 in the morning. I've come across some strange parking lot visuals trying to find a place to rest for a few hours. Sometimes it was back in the car and on the highway out before even walking into the hotel.
Parting Thoughts:
I loved the brevity of the poem and the fact that it produced many traveling images in my mind at a flash!
Conclusion:
Good job!
Travel well ...

Review!
I am reviewing this item because it popped up on the Random Read & Review.
Initial Thoughts:
Great title and brief description of what is so true these days. Even the dollar store is a Buck and a Quarter store, now.
Further Thoughts:
You work the disgruntled shopper at the register check out, with your character in shock over the sticker shock. The whole thing was shocking, really!
Observation:
"toot sweet" ... Tout de suite" would be the proper French way to spell it. However, I do find amusement in the "toot" part since there was a bathroom reference.
Parting Thoughts:
I like the way you mentioned the long line of disgruntled customers who just wanted to check out and leave the store. Keeping them waiting for a second totaling of the items ...priceless! I wouldn't want to meet them all in the parking lot after that. Good thing she needed to make a stop in the rest room before leaving.
This story hit the point in very few words. It's a good flash fiction story.
You dropped this little link in response to my Newsfeed inquiry for MORE Halloween/Horror Word Search Puzzles. I am here to take the challenge!
Overall Thoughts:
OH, my stars ... I love this horror movie puzzle. So many of them I have enjoyed. In fact I'm watching a horror movie as I type. I really soak up the season of the Witch with gumption!
Further Thoughts:
This is an aggressive horror show puzzle consisting of 25 spine-tingling movies that nightmares are born from. I pictured so many scenes in many of those movies.
My most time consumed word was the shortest one "It" which of course was well hidden within the tile. There were so many "I's and T's" all over the puzzle. None of them worked until finally I found the right pair of letters that turned the puzzle green! Yesssssssssssss!!! I was undefeated amid all the horror.
Observation:
Simple typo ..."A Quite Place" should be A Quiet Place I have turned letters in spelling myself due to my dyslexia, so I understand. I didn't catch it while uncovering it. After I saw the completed puzzle on green background, it seemed to jump out at me.
Parting Thoughts:
This was such a fun and spirited puzzle for the season and in celebration of Spooktober! I like that!
I'm throwing in a few GPs for your responding to my request for horror word search puzzles and making me cringe as I uncovered the horror!!!
Conclusion:
Great job!
