I am familiar with the Loop and the Chicago area having lived not far from there. I must wonder, if this is based on a true story, how long after that did it take for the condo to sell? But so long as the wife had her wine, it made the terrors of the day mellow a bit.
Observation:
"squaring off should [shoulder]to-shoulder"
Little typo, easy fix.
Parting Thoughts:
Well I guess, you guessed this ...it will be highlighted in the Comedy Newsletter coming out later tonight/tomorrow.
Conclusion:
Great story --made me chuckle!
Until next time--Stay outta the real estate business!

I see you weave in action/adventure and then the return to the safe life; that of a husband and a dad at home.
Ryan is a lovable character who is an secret agent on the job. He must return another agent back home. Not as easy as it sounds since he enters enemy territory where his associate is imprisoned.
What I like:
I like that there is humor woven into adventure and danger. Humor does have a place in any genre when appropriately used to sound natural.
Conclusion:
I really liked Ryan and his fun personality. I am highlighting this story in the upcoming Comedy Newsletter!
Until next time--Write on!

Thank you for creating this Word Search puzzle, and tagging me on the Newsfeed!
Jumping Right In:
This is a great brain exercising puzzle. It is filled with 20 challenging words. Some quite familiar. A few needing a dictionary. Many not used in everyday speech. But you can find one here and weave it into a sentence for future use.
Furthermore:
Testing one's vocabulary with words such as: crepuscular, and verisimilitude. Then there is defenestrate (the act of throwing someone or something out of a window. ) just to name a few.
This puzzle was a medium difficulty level puzzle since a player may need to look up a word out of curiosity adding to the time it takes to complete.
Parting Thoughts:
I do enjoy a challenge, or, a puzzle with challenging words to wake up the brain. That kind of educational exercise is a good thing.
Conclusion:
Funtastic!
Until next time--Puzzle on!

I was tagged to this puzzle's link on the newsfeed by the many members who know how much I enjoy them.
Initial Thoughts:
Thank you for creating this interesting Word Search Puzzle about Catholicism. I grew up Catholic and spent 12 years in the Catholic school system.
Further Thoughts:
This puzzle consisted of 25 Catholic themed words related to Sacraments, Masses, Holy Days and many celebrations of prayer and Penance. These teachings can be found in the Holy Catechism.
Parting Thoughts:
The celebrations in the Catholic church have always been so solemn or festive depending on the particular type of Mass being said, or Sacraments or Holy Days up to days of Lent leading us to the very festive celebration of the Resurrection, Easter Sunday.
Observation:
You had a repeat word on the tile. "SALVATION."
If one doesn't shade over it twice on the already completed tile, it won't turn green. I've learned to look for repeat words when the puzzle shows all words were found, but the repeat wasn't hit again. If you wish, you could remove the repeat or change the word there to prevent others from wondering why no green tile upon completion.
Conclusion:
You did a wonderful job adding so many Catholic themed teachings in this Word Search puzzle.
Well done!
Until next time--Puzzle on!

Thank you for creating this Word Search Puzzle related to things having to do with the month of June! It is a month of many things, even National Yo Yo Day!
Digging Into The Month:
Well, happy birthday to you this month! You have all the summer air coming in to be awakened to outdoor happenings. Summer break certainly livens up the joy of school kids.
Fun In The Sun:
Midsummer Day, Juneteenth, Fathers Day ... all great times for barbecues, picnics and water games. Keeping it cool and highlighting good family fun.
This puzzle consisted of 25 words/titles to uncover. Of course Friday the Thirteenth was included to add that extra special something. I found it a quick and relaxing puzzle to solve. It was just the perfect activity for a Sunday morning, sipping coffee and enjoying a perfect June day.
Parting Thoughts:
Thanks again for tagging me with the link to this Word Search puzzle! I had a lovely time uncovering June's special qualities.
Conclusion:
Great Job!

Thank you for creating this Juneteenth Word Search puzzle.
General Thoughts:
You encompass many of the celebrations around Juneteenth, and its all about freedom. It wasn't until then in Galveston Texas, that the slaves got the news from Union Troops they were freed. It was more than two years after it was initially issued by President Abraham Lincoln.
What a fabulous moment that must have been for them knowing they are no longer slaves. Thus the huge celebrations each year in Galveston.
The Puzzle:
This Word Search consisted of 16 words/group of words to show those things that relate to Juneteenth. Picnics, family, barbecues, community, emancipation, celebrate. It is indeed a festive occasion there in Texas.
Parting Thoughts:
This was a lovely puzzle that highlights the many things that make Juneteenth so special.
Thank you for creating another very cool Word Search puzzle.
Jumping Right In:
Wonderful artists and authors, creators of masterpieces ...this puzzle has them noted.
Furthermore:
25 names to uncover makes the tile itself a masterpiece. I enjoyed digging deep into the puzzle to find people like Leonardo DaVinci, Beethoven. Dickens, Monet, Disney, even Toby Mac, and so many more! I could picture their art work. Have read their books, or listened to their music. Also, enjoying memories of being there at that Park in CA with my children... the brilliance of Disney's family fun theme park.
Parting Thoughts:
This is an amazing mix of greatness from contributions to society. The classics and the modern day artists unite in this puzzle.
I did start this puzzle last night. This morning when I came back to finish it, the puzzle tile did do that burst thing. But it normalized when I decreased the size of it. And, I didn't lose the names already uncovered.
Conclusion:
Great Word Search filled with some brilliant creative people.
Until next time--Puzzle on!

Thank you so much for your response to my Newsfeed plea!
All About Cats:
I love this Word Search puzzle! And, you were so quick to respond on the Newsfeed. I think you like creating these. That's a good thing, of course!
This puzzle is all about cats. I happen to be fascinated by Maine Coon cats, and it happened to be the first name I uncovered. I've seen photos of them that actually look like little lions. So cool!
Furthermore:
There are so many names of cats, some of which I didn't know, but then life is a lesson in all things catdom! Those memes, ya, know.
I know someone who raised them, but I find the hairless Sphinx kind of odd looking. They look too naked to be out in public, I guess.
Parting Thoughts:
This puzzle consisted of 25 names to uncover. Different cats with a purr thrown in.
I really had fun uncovering them. Today was a perfect day to wrap my brain around a Words Search puzzle. I've had way too many chores to do in the kitchen. My mind needed to relax. This did the trick. Laundry awaits my attention, now.
Conclusion:
Purrrrrfect!
Until next time--Puzzle on!

Well not exactly right in since I was working on this puzzle for two days! I had started it three times when suddenly Windows update jumped in and usually I would delay the restart until I finish something, but needed to tend to something. When I got back, laptop had already restarted. That meant starting all over again. Yup. Then for some reason, it couldn't finish the job. I started again, and the laptop needed another restart. Well, anyway, you get the picture.
Furthermore:
This puzzle contains 24 names of famous people to uncover. There are a couple queens, a Pope and a couple Presidents, and many more! It had so many influential people.
Parting Thoughts:
I was going along pretty fine and dandy until the update interruptions. So, this would have been completed a couple days ago, but finally it is finis!
Conclusion:
Great Word Search puzzle!

I've noticed I have never reviewed this contest before. Oh, great WebWitch, now you show up? It's been closed for awhile. But I got to peruse it today.

Furthermore:
The forum is well constructed. But then you are an overachiever.
I like the clear instructions. It's also bright and it engages the viewer to want to give it a try.
I love your exclusive MB.
Parting Thoughts:
You supply great information on writing a letter to your family, and letting them know you'd like to have your portfolio preserved with a White Case when you pass.
Conclusion:
Knowing you, when you've done your homework and caught up with stuff, you might one day revive this contest.

Thank you for tagging me to this Word Search puzzle link.
In A Hurry:
Yes, under these circumstances I feel I must work quickly on this puzzle. It's just what I needed today after an afternoon of rushing. {vre:crazy}
Moving Quickly Along:
As noted in your brief description this puzzle was made following a word, "clamant" placed on the newsfeed by dragonwoman (Whose username you typoed above the tile. You forgot the "Y." Easy fix. ) The word means "demands attention loudly or in an urgent way. Thank goodness I'm not one of those people.
The puzzle had 25 almost quick finds except for "urgent" which I actually had to take time off to do prepare dinner and then come back to it with fresh eyes. I finally found it. But it just wasn't fast enough!
Fast Parting Thoughts, Albeit NOT Urgent/Conclusion:
Another funtastic WS puzzle, AJ! Thank you for creating it.

Thank you for creating this Word Search puzzle and tagging me.
First Impression:
I liked the informative intro above the puzzle. You mentioned in Japanese culture certain numbers pronounced differently are unlucky numbers such as 4&7. It could be interpreted to mean death and bloody death.
Furthermore:
This puzzle consists of 16 words/groups of words to uncover. You'd think fewer words, easier solve. Not always true. The word "Shi" was well hidden in another word already solved. However, knowing that if said a certain way it could mean death or bloody death even ...
Parting Thoughts:
I managed to get the puzzle solved and outta there before any hex could take place. Of course I was protected by the number thirteen. So that's a good thing!
Conclusion:
I enjoyed finding these omens and uncovering them. Again, under the protection of number 13!
Good job!

Thank you so much for creating this Word Search puzzle so quickly after my request on the newsfeed. And for tagging me!
Jumping Right In:
Oh, I do love this puzzle with only "A" as a vowel in these names. It does make one's head spin when there is a tile filled with "As" all over the place!
Furthermore:
This puzzle consists of 18 words all of places whose names have "A" as its only vowel. A couple of them are in the US, Alabama and Alaska. Each of those have three "A's" in their names.
However, places such as "Kanakanak" and "Madagascar" have four "A's" so there's that.
Parting Thoughts:
I cruised along easily through many of the names. I found working on the "W's," "M's" and "Z's" right off the bat helps. A couple names remained hidden for awhile. But eventually I got them all. I'd say this is a medium difficulty level puzzle because of all the "A's." But then, I really enjoy a brain workout!
Conclusion:
Great fun--Great job!

For some reason I'm really excited to be here and solve this puzzle!
Witchy Stuff:
You did an amazing job of poring through my port and finding these tidbits about me or writings I have and also, activities! Bingo for one. Friday the 13th coming your way tomorrow!
Furthermore:
This Word Search puzzle was filled with 25 things associated with WebWitch. Besides being a Quill nominee, I also won a couple quills for one of these activities.
I see you didn't fail to include "Windy City Tales" that contains my Lou Ryan detective mystery stories. Lou is my hands-down favorite character to write.
Parting Thoughts:
I really enjoyed uncovering these items in my port. It wasn't a difficult level, making it quite relaxing. I tried to get rid of all the "W's" first to clear that column. "W" is an easy letter to find among many letters.
Conclusion:
Thank you so much for creating this puzzle that has so much in it that is close to my heart.
Fantastic Job!

Oh, my this is one different Word Search puzzle! Thank you for creating it. And making me sweat!
Initial Thoughts:
What could be easier? It's just 5 letter words with double letters.
I set my eyes upon the tile. Then adjusted them again to focus away from the "A" since none was to be found in any of the 25 words in play.
Furthermore:
I must say, I was surprised this was not a quick and easy solve. I ran around like a headless chicken trying to find the cocky cock crock. Tongue twisters aside, it gave me a bit of work, indeed!
The puzzle had 25 words to uncover. The tile was very tight, meaning not a whole lot of blanks left at the end. With the similar words and words within already solved words, it was a tougher difficulty level. I should add having dyslexia doesn't help!
Parting Thoughts:
I found the "mock" hidden within the "smock." I was on my way to completion! It's a good thing because this was my third attempt to do this puzzle. Blame it on my trigger finger closing the tab not once after I had already started solving. But twice!
I was one determined witch and started all over again. This puzzle would not beat me.
Conclusion:
Yup ...so good!

Ooooh, a new Word Search puzzle for me! Thank you!
Sleeping Well
Loved your poetic introduction above the tile.
There are 25 words/word groupings that relate to bedtime, all woven into this puzzle. I figured this would be a very relaxing puzzle since it's about bedtime.
Through The Night:
Who doesn't want to be rested enough to sleep through the night? Just gaze at the "Constellations" and "Moon Light." Of course I happen to love "Lightning Bugs" and even "Frogs Croaking."
Comforting things like: "Snuggle Under Blanket" I really should be doing this puzzle at night before bedtime so I can feel the relaxation easing me into slumber. Looking forward to pleasant dreams...NO nightmares, please.
Parting Thoughts:
I have to admit this was not the quickest solve. I got slowed down on a few of the words. However, the worst and last word I uncovered was "Bats!" I swear I ran all over the already solved puzzle but for that word. I know bats are nocturnal, but are they invisible as well?!!
Yes, I finally found those little flying mammals hidden within the tile thus turning it green. It is done.
Conclusion:
Always fun as usual! Thanks again!

I'm here because you made this wonderful Word Search puzzle and tagged me because you know I love doing these!
What Be in This Puzzle?
This Word Search has 25 names to uncover relating to Scottish towns. I just love town name puzzles. This of course has some interesting names. One that caught my attention because I wonder the meaning: "Knockando" I wonder what one does after knocking. I love how curious these names are to me. I'm sure there is great meaning in town names. We've got some weird ones here in New England. I love when people not from around here say a town name that is so far off. "Leicester" is one that they would inevitably call "Lie-chester." Actually, we call it "Lester." Talk about simplification! That's just one example.
Furthermore:
One has to stay alert when uncovering these names. Words that are not familiar to our ears take time to find. Possibly there are a couple similar word beginnings: "Kircudbright, Kirkintilloch. So, I look at the first 3 letters and the last 3 word endings to catch them easier.
Parting Thoughts:
This was a very interesting puzzle to solve. I love learning names that are not familiar to me. I love that I was picturing scenes from Scotland that I've seen on some shows. It sets a backdrop for me while solving the puzzle.
Conclusion:
Fabulous fun!
Until next time--Puzzle on!

Oh, yes! I do enjoy the shenanigans put forth to remind me to stay upright while walking and climbing.
Falling Right In:
I'm with you! I get Vertigo, so am prone to dizziness. That can wreak havoc on walking upstairs or navigating hills that are everywhere where I live. Love this: "And may the standing up always be with you"
Scary words such as:
Head Over Heels Into The Abyss
So many others in this Word Search puzzle about things that involve falling. I'm a klutz anyway. I can manage to trip on a floorboard line.
Furthermore:
The puzzle was a fun solve. It was painful at times, though. There was a hidden trick to trip one up. That would be the repeat of one word, "pitch." You can't just pitch once, you have to shade over it twice to get rid of the pitch. I stood up to those pitches!
Parting Thoughts:
I have no falling out with the seriousness of this humorous puzzle. In fact, it seems to describe a day in my life when I'm in a rush to get something done and didn't notice the doorstop was sticking out just enough.
Conclusion:
I'm glad I finally got here. I just finished up my regular contest reviewing and was thrilled to have this saved for some "play" time.
Great job!
Until next time--Puzzle on!

I am reviewing your entry as a judge at "The Bard's Hall Contest" . Thank you for entering our May Picture Prompt contest.
Initial Thoughts:
I saw in your genres the predictable "Military" but what caught my eye was the addition of "Comedy." I am quite fond of finding some humor in a story. It also got my curiosity as to what made the story funny? I mean the soldier, the flags ... Then I found out. You know something? I loved the unique take on this prompt.
Furthermore:
I could picture you with the arm filled with trays of food and then the swinging door accident, decorating the higher rank's table, clothes and boots with breakfast including waffles soaked in butter and syrup!
Flag removal the day after Memorial Day was the punishment since one man would be working on that for days. I guess that'll stop another soldier from tossing open swinging doors without some sort of signal. Perhaps someone really should have a glass window placed there, finally.
Rules:
You wrote a story based on the photo prompt. Word count is given and in accordance to limit required.
Parting Thoughts:
I really enjoyed your unique take on the photo prompt. You actually made the soldier in the photo you as the character carrying out his punishment.
Conclusion:
Great job!

I am reviewing your entry as a judge at "The Bard's Hall Contest" . Thank you for entering our May Photo Prompt contest.
Opening Thoughts:
This is quite a thorough essay filled with information relating to historical facts about Memorial Day, then and now.
Further Thoughts:
The photo shows a Veteran placing flags over the graves of deceased Veterans. Write a newly created story based on the image.
Word count was included as per the rules.
Observations:
"When Virginia succeededSeceded from the Union,"
Was it a story? I wondered if I was reading an encyclopedia page. Which makes it harder for the reader to connect to it being a story. I guess I wanted your own take on the photo in story form rather than just an information article.
Parting Thoughts:
There is some wonderful information about the Veteran's burial sites and Memorial Day. And I have learned some things I didn't know before. So, thank you for that.
Conclusion:
Very interesting facts!

I am reviewing your entry as a judge at "The Bard's Hall Contest" . Thank you for entering our May Photo Prompt contest.
My Thoughts:
I could picture the Veteran placing flags over the graves of deceased Veterans. It is quite a feeling seeing that. I know they place a flag over my father's grave each Memorial Day. My father is buried in a town cemetery, not a Veteran's burial ground. Thus, these flags are covered by some very devoted men in uniform because the graves aren't all in one specific area.
Furthermore:
This story had a haunting quality to it with the voice of his boss from the grave. He could feel his old boss's presence more so in his mind because he knew him well and knew what he would have said to him.
What I Would Like:
I think the reader doesn't get the Boss character's part in the story because there was just a statement saying he "cherished" him and he was a "dragon lover." It just needs at least a brief character development so the reader can feel the connection between the two men.
Parting Thoughts:
You followed the prompt telling a story from the photo provided of a man in uniform placing flags over Veteran's graves.
Word count is given as required.
Conclusion:
Well done. Just needs a bit more clarification of the characters as stated above.

I am reviewing your entry as a judge at "The Bard's Hall Contest" . Thank you for entering May's Photo Prompt contest.
First Impression:
Judge a book by its cover? I love the book-cover image! It welcomes the reader right into the entries.
Furthermore:
The other thing that caught my attention even before reading the entry is how concise the writing is. Sometimes brief hits home quicker than many unnecessary words. It's like a snapshot in the mind that gives the reader the whole picture instantly.
Additionally:
Such imagery indeed stuck in my mind. I could picture t he soldier placing flags over Veterans graves. He doubted his station in life. He wondered if he does service to their memory or if he should be in the Military ...was it worth it? He lost his Dad and lived the sadness of his mother's grief.
Parting Thoughts:
The arrival of a mother pushing her child in a stroller, giving him thanks for his honorable work. That answered all his doubts immediately.
Conclusion:
Good job with the prompt!

Thank you for tagging me with the link to this Word Search Puzzle.
Jumping Right In:
This is a puzzle that highlights the fascinating world of the forest and animals and vegetation to be found there. It is indeed seeing the forest that hides within the trees.
Furthermore:
The puzzle consists of 25 words relating to the forest. Things like from Shelf Fungi to puma. Black Bear is another one must watch out for while hiking in the woods. I know we have them where I live in MA. But then, there are woods and plenty of watershed areas.
I enjoyed uncovering the words on the list. Most of them were a quick find. But then there was that last piece of the puzzle to uncover that was well hidden within the tile. Of course I should have tried to get that one out of the way first --"doe."
Parting Thoughts:
I loved the subject matter of this puzzle since I love exploring these beautiful backdrops that nature has to offer. And, taking photographs of course. Although Florida I am likely to find alligators to photograph.
Conclusion:
Another fine Word Search puzzle. Good job!

I guess you got the idea for this subject matter on a recent Newsfeed post. Well, it's true sort of. I believe I declared my innocence of something.
"I could go on and on about this, but long story short - I'm a glutton for punishment." So states your brief description above the tile.
This was a very inclusive Word Search of the many words that would be used to go hand in hand with that which is considered without blame ...innocence.
Words such as: Above Reproach, Above Suspicion, Without Corruption. There is one group of words that catch my attention ..."Whistling Walk Away." Although in my case it would be Whistling and flying away! ...
Furthermore:
This puzzle has 25 words/group of words all relating to the state of innocence. It was a smooth solve for the most part. Words containing "without" I tried to catch right off the bat. In face I cleared row three fist. It was the mostly "W" row, I have an affinity for "W's."
Parting Thoughts:
I enjoyed playing this Word Search. I got a kick out of it because it was created after a few of us were funning around about being innocent on the Newsfeed. You amazingly put a swift them to action and come up with another puzzle to enjoy.
Conclusion:
Wonderful job!
