Today, I turned 15. 15 years ago, I was born an innocent baby and now I am leaving Spain. Leaving my family, and everything I know. What for? For me. I'm going to New York City. I don't know what I will find their or who I will meet, but I have heard that it is a great city. That is how I ended up as a stow away on this boat. I have no real plans or anywhere to go once I reach New York, but I hope to find freedom, and most of all I hope to find myself...

Thats the letter I left hidden in my room, it will probably never be found, I don't want it to be found. I am standing im the middle of this busy city, and I look around me, and I can see this place is so differnt from home...So differnt from Spain. I am very thirsty so I am going to go and see if I can get a drink. As I walk into this little cafe, I bump into this punk, who is named Rodger, I know this because I heard his ignorant friends calling to him...Suprisingly my natural good looks are not enough to warrant a free drink...like I said this place is not like home! So I have to do something to get me some money...maybe I could dance...I did spend ten years in a dance studio after all, I was soon hired at a place called the CatScratch club. Sometimes when I can't sleep I miss Spain, but I will always remember the times I had their, and one day I will find myself...
