A Path Into The Sun

Falling in love

Is like wandering into a deep forest

At first, there are a million new things to catch your attention

The sun streaming through the trees

The birds singing

As you wander farther

You begin to grow used to the sights around you

Slowly growing attached to it’s beauty

It surrounds you until all you can see

Is the forest of trees

But there’s a part In every forest

Where the lights don’t shine through the thick blanket of leaves

And the air isn’t clear anymore

But shrouded by a thick must of disappointment

You being to worry that you are lost

And begin to fear that very place

That was once so beautiful in your eyes

You can wander and wander

Until you finally lose yourself completely

And then at last you find

That there is always, always

A path out of the forest, and into the sun
