Muddled thoughts fill my befuddled mind,
Cluttering it with twisted memories.
All I want is to be free of my painful past,
Something is stopping me… holding me back.
Begging and pleading will do nothing,
The swirling haze that clouds my eyes is lifting.
Even though the haze has lifted the darkness still remains,
Forever binding me to it… never releasing me once.
Anger rises as the pain subsides,
Is this a good thing?
From this unforgivable anger comes pure hatred,
In my blind hatred I inflict harm on many.
Death comes of those who provoke this newfound hatred,
Through this darkness comes a new light.
Strong arms grip me… digging hard into my wrists,
The strong anger ebbs back into pain.
Intense sorrow fills my heart,
Just as padded walls now surround me.
I know now that anger no longer fills me to the brink of complete destruction,
Nothing does for there is no point.
For I have reached the peak of my madness,
Just as I have reached the point of no return.
