Moonshark 2008

George Orwell wrote that language should express and not conceal thought. However, "in our time, political speech and writing are largely the defense of the indefensible. Political language "is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable, and
appearance of solidity to pure wind."

"War is peace."  Think about the language that defines Iraq. Bush said, "we're at war," upon hearing that a second plane had flown into the World Trade Center, many of us may have thought then that war meant something with a definite conclusion, like the war in Afghanistan. Yet the slogan, "war on terror," is a symbol of perpetual thinking about perpetual war.
Or "either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists," symbolizes the triumph of  controlled thought, over any other modes of thought (free thought, dissenting thought) that might actually challenge the position of the state and its leaders.

In low these troubled times the world cries out for a superhero. Speaking as Moonshark's politcal advisor and spokesperson I feel the time has come for Moonshark Nation to smooth out some of the rough edges of Moonshark to make him more politically viable. Electing a crime-fighting shark from the future is going to be a difficult task. Feel free to assist me in this quest. I would encourage to not take your complaints or concerns to Moonshark.

Allow me to demonstrate,

He believes he is from the future

= He has a clear vision for our future.




He has no idea what to do with his life

=He's a candidate for the people.



He combs the street at night in a shark costume

=The voters can identify him.



He is not listening to a word you are saying =

=He's a man of vision.



He is japped out on peyote buds

= He's a visionary.


He is schooled in black ops hypnosis

= He understands the voters.

At any rate you can see where we are going with this.

He has been high every time I've come in contact with him
becomes He's running a grassroots campaign.

He is a scitzo could be  He's a man of character.


He refuses to commit to a relationship can be expressed as He cares about children and families.

He is an argumentive predator prone to violent attacks=

He's willing to stand up to the Washington bureaucrats and won't back down to the special interest groups

He has eaten people=He'll make a difference in people's lives.
         
He once ate a rowboat filled with Nuns and orphans=He's a man of great moral fiber.
.
He is a jag off =He's his own man.

The important thing to remember is Moonshark is his own man ( and Shark) who will stand up for you and your family. Moonshark means what he says and says he means. Acts of terror have never brought down liberal democracies. Acts of parliament have closed a few.
