A sestina based on Red Riding Hood, as told by the Wolf... a sexual gothic undertone.
Hood

For this I lust;

Her skin of alabaster,

curls of crimson

glowing, ethereal in the moonlight.

Her flesh is beauty.

Above, the stars glisten.

In my eyes that glisten,

awakened is a lust.

A flash of pale beauty,

underneath the orb of alabaster.

In the glow of moonlight,

Through the tree, a blazing crimson.

Fear flushes the cheeks crimson.

Beads of sweat on her skin glisten.

Her body tense against the moonlight.

For her flesh I lust.

Stars of alabaster,

echoing her beauty.

I see past that beauty,

tear past that cape of crimson,

sinking into the swell of alabaster.

My lips, black they glisten.

Satisfy my lust,

underneath the moonlight.

We dance in the moonlight.

In her blood lies her beauty,

dulling the lust.

The earth blossoms crimson.

At night the flowers glisten

beside broken shards of alabaster.

Her bones, scarlet laced alabaster

illuminated by the moonlight.

Above, the stars, they glisten.

No more her beauty.

No more the hood of crimson,

as too, no more my lust.

The fall of the alabaster beauty

to the lust of moonlight shadows

will glisten upon my smile.
