I wrote this a while ago in sixth grade. But I think it's true.

Have you ever wondered why you are here?
Why that date to come, why that year?

Have you ever wondered why some of us are smart, some are athletic, and some are weird?
Were you ever caring mean or truly sincere?

Have you ever wondered what happens and why?
Why a fish swims, dogs bark, or birds fly?

Have you ever wanted to change who you are?
Or what you can do so you can go far?

Have you ever thought about the future?
Who you’ll be and if you’ll be mature?
I have and you probably have too
But remember one thing…

Be you.
Don’t let anyone tell you what to do.

Make choices and mistakes.
Don’t be false of fake.

Be original.

Be you.
