A nightmarish voyage that is cursed by distrust.
Dear friend,

We have a tendency to get involved in absurd situations. We even team up with strangers to do it and when we realize how dumb we have been, it is too late. We are in.
From then on, evolution is like going aboard a ship with a drunken master, adrift in an ocean of doubts and possibilities with "a course for port's unread".
There is an abyss under our feet, where giant and real monsters could dismember us in the blink of an eye.
We have to hide our luggage because we have a couple a dead corpses very willing to express themselves, those stinky bastards that, were we given the chance, we would kill twice. They represent all the things we want to get rid of but we can't.
However, the repulsive smell of others' corpses overwhelm our nostrils up to a point we are no longer able to discern which smell is which.
We blame others for their lack of tidiness while maggots are happily worming their ways from mouth to mouth, in an out, always knowing where they have come from and where they are going to. These mother fuckers will have plenty of food for a long voyage, while there comes a time when we begin to consider that perhaps our only chance to survive lies on the fact that we become a crowd of these covetous mother fuckers.
Even more terrible thoughts cross our minds. We think our fellows are devising all sorts of plans to killing and eating us.
There is always sickness reigning. We try to pretend all is right just to make sure we are ready to stab back.
We plot in the dark and in the light we wear lousy masks that others left before leaving.
We convince ourselves that we do what we do for the sake of survival. Self-convinced, we go up on deck to advertise
what we think are strategic alliances to get rid of all the threats.
Then, the clever ones are able to know who have become allies already, who are in the process of making a plan by their own, who are depending on others' plans and who are clueless or anarchists.
Storms form alliance with revenge, thirst cause fighting, food gets more and more scarcer and an outspoken longing for death is now where empathy once commanded.
Fear of suffering, fear of the dead ones' ghosts, fear of our dizzy mind's visions cause us to see the Demon Himself in the eyes of an Angel who has descended from an outlandish lifeboat to take us away from hate and pain and revenge so that we are able to tell the story.

Thank you.
