The Depths Within Us

Sometimes words come way too late..

And sometimes it’s all about words
Asking the right words at exactly the right time
The right words at a time that’s new but old
Old in the sense of once having before
New in the sense of newness found in comfort of the old

New
Something we haven’t yet touched
New
Something more obscure

I understood the depths we surpassed but didn’t seem to care
I kept on
I kept going, like the wind in a full blown hurricane
I pressed on further, for more intellect.
