Somewhere Out There

There are more things beyond what we see;
plants, animals, food,
culture, and even more
we have never even heard of.

Planets and stars are considered;
unknown worlds never explored.
Somewhere, beyond where we live
or what we hear,
lies pain and destruction.

Even though no one can see the future
there is hope-
hope of a better life
and hope of a unified community.
