People always say things, some that aren't true,
like when they say words will never hurt you

Mean words from a stranger may not seem bad
but the things they say can still make you sad.

But words from a loved one can truly break your heart,
the horrible things they say can slowly tear you apart.

Sticks and stones will break bones and may make them crack,
but once a bone breaks after a while it will be completely back,

to they way it use to be, but once words are out they will always stay
It doesn't matter if you want them to leave they will never go away.

so which is better? words that haunt you for the rest of your life?
Those mean words that can fill you with doubt and strife.

So be careful what you say you say
it will never go away

so live life and have fun
but when they day is done

don't have a reason to be upset.
Never live life with a regret.

Because when your life is finally through
what you say is how they will remember you
