Poem Nine: A snowy poem of mixed feelings. All about snowfall.
White World

A white fluff film flowing far, forever it spans,
Coating and covering and converging all the lands.
Brilliant and bright under the sun's benign light,
Soft and smooth, it smothers the scenery; Oh such a sight!
Each flake unique, unified under unbelievable strength,
Wondrous, wanted, waited for while whirling in length
Of a clouded sky; fierce force fighting for a span of time,
Then falling as icy individuals imagined by Him, too sublime.
Whether the weather will end up winded and worn
Is yet to be seen before it bares broken clouds, the sky be torn.

Oh great natural naked, no more,
Why do I shovel you, nose sniffling and sore?
The plow pummels your perfection, persistent hard work.
The white is darkened by undone dirt doth lurk
Beneath the beauty that bore such a body of pure white
Still lies lingering earth-born life that lives to fight.
And so snow meets salt and saltier spirits within,
The destruction doesn't dare, yet it does and must begin!
Warmth hits and melts more and more, such messy is the mess of snow
That's begun to hold hate and soften with heat, having buried all below.

And as I approach a feeling afforded alone by me
I decide it to be too treacherous, terrible to let be free.
Once you were the one open, ornamental thing of sincere joy,
A magnificent, molded, magically made power: nature's icy toy.
But now you have had your heart-full, heavy run
And I pray, please poor world, plenty of perpetual sun
To destroy you, you filthy young yearning wretched wonder!
I feel so wrong, yet right, and rich of regal holy thunder.
Though I'm sorry to say so many sad things, so lonely and low.
In the end of ends, I'm erasing emotions once held high of you, snow.

Oh, White World: nature's sweet and pretty gift,
Goodbye, begone, and for God's sake be swift!
