A poem describing the Moon
Through the trees she glides.
I see her darting through the leaves.
Chasing prey with silent strides,
And all the while she grieves.

Her destiny is set in the stars
To roam through Zodiacal lights
And briefly dally with Venus and Mars
Her beauty shines in our nights.

Fair Diana or Artemis
Her name may change on Earth.
Be it strife or bliss
We hold a debt to her birth.

We all praise her brother Apollo
Or Helios as his name is said.
Many in times past did follow
Cults when so many bled.

For Diana the night is her realm
And a changeling she remains.
Her plight to us would overwhelm
Silently lighting the plains.

As the sky brightens in the east
I stroll across the glade.
The dew hangs heavy and flowers feast
On the tears Diana has made.
