A poem about heartbreak
Today it ended.
You found someone new, I don't blame you.
Who wouldn't choose excitement over the same old, same old.

But new things fade fast.
She will be just as average as me soon enough
How will you feel then?

I miss you more than I'd ever say.
I tell you I wish you two the best,
And god do I want to fucking mean it...
But I really fucking don't.

She took my angel, she gets to hold my entire mother fucking world.
What if she turns you into someone I don't recognize?
Please come back soon.

I don't know how long I'll last without my form of oxygen.
I'm a skeleton of the person I was.
I'm just bones gliding through the motions.

But my heart is still in your control,
My smile was left where I saw you last,
And my warmth hasn't returned since you walked away after our last hug.
Come home.
