Liz the mighty MEGA WOMAN

Chapter 22: The office and the world respond



         Mega Woman quickly flew back to the top of her building. She made sure she was going too fast for any helicopter to keep up. She quickly landed on the roof and entered through the door. There she found her cloths still in her bag.

         "I AM THE DIVINE!" she said as she was engulfed by white light and quickly lost her amazing muscle mass and super powers. She returned to normal Liz.

         "Yuck," she thought as she felt the familiar dizziness that comes from returning to normal form. She quickly changed back into her work cloths and headed down the steps. She actually went two floors further down so no one she k new would see her coming out of the stairwell. She entered the building and took the elevator to her floor.

         When the doors opened it was a madhouse. The entire floor was buzzing about what they had just witnessed on the TVs and computers in the office. Liz quickly made her way to her office and dropped the bag.

         "Please tell me that wherever you were, you saw what happened?" Mike said as he came into Liz's office.

         "What happened? I, I was downstairs getting a snack," she lied.

         "You telling me you missed it? Remember that super person we were talking about this morning? Well, turns out you were right. It wasn't a guy. It was a woman. A really fucking huge and strong and powerful woman!" Mike said excited.

         "Wow, you seem really impressed by this super woman," Liz said trying not to smile.

         "Um, yeah. Campbell, this woman just stopped a train. Here," he said as she took her keyboard and typed in MEGA WOMAN.

         "Mega Woman?" Liz asked.

         "Uh huh, that is her name. Here. I am surprised the web hasn't crashed but here is the footage from earlier. You see her Liz? Fuck! I mean, how did she get so big? I have never seen muscles like that on anyone. Man or woman! See!" Mike said excited as the video showed Mega Woman lifting up the locomotive and then giving the "thumbs up" sign to the camera in the helicopter.

         "With one fucking hand Liz!" he paused it. "And look, it is like it doesn't even weigh anything to her. Can you image the power she has? Not to mention she fucking flies! It is like a fucking comic book!" Mike said.

         Liz couldn't help but smile. "Yeah, wow, it, it is amazing. Like did she say where she came from?" Liz asked.

         "No. After she stopped the train, which again she did with the ease I lift a magazine, she just said she was here to help. Oh, and that she was the one who tossed those boats around the Navy yard. She offered to help with that as well. Man, it is fucking unreal!" Mike said.

         Liz laughed. "You seem quit enamored with her Mike. I didn't know you were into muscled up super women?"

         Mike's face turned red. "Um well, maybe a little. But you have to admit. This is amazing! Like a real life superman, er, supergirl," Mike corrected himself. "Makes me want to throw myself out the window so she can rescue me!" he added.

         "Really? I, I admit. It is pretty incredible. Wild that it is a woman. Guess you men can't say you are the stronger sex anymore can you?" Liz said.

         Mike laughed. "Fuck no! I have no idea how any man could compete with that!" he said pointing to the still frozen screen. "I can't believe you missed it! I came by to get you but you were not here," he said.

         "Like I said Mike, I, I was downstairs getting a snack," she said.

         Mike looked at her with a wry smile. "Likely excuse. Like in the Superman movies where Clark Kent always has an excuse. Who knows," Mike said as he laughed. "Maybe Liz Campbell is the amazing and powerful Mega Woman!"

         Liz looked at him and rolled her eyes. "Yeah right. I don't think I fit the bill, given that I am not an eight foot superwoman who lifts locomotives like they are made of pure air," she said.

         Mike laughed. "True. Ok, guess I should get back to work. Man, what a weird day!" Mike said as he left her office.

         Liz got up and closed her door. She returned to her desk and clicked the play button on the video. She had to admit, it was pretty amazing watching her in action. What was more amazing was how EASY it had been. She felt like she hardly had to use any of her strength or flight powers. Was there anything on this planet that she could not do?

         Her thoughts were interrupted by the phone. She picked it up. "This is Liz,"

         "This is your Foot Servant!" Tom said. "Hot damn Master! That was amazing! Mega Woman is now the number one topic trending worldwide! There are already web pages opened up about you!" Tom said.

         Liz smiled brightly. "Really? Who ever thought poor little Liz Campbell would be a worldwide trend?" she said. "I think this is a cause for celebration. Please have a special dinner waiting for me when I get home. You are going to worship at the feet of your girlfriend, your worldwide trending mega girlfriend!"
