We live then Die

We live then die
Our world, friends, family
Precede or follow us to the grave
What then is the purpose of Life?

The purpose is bold, strong, meaningful!
The changes, great or small
To add, improve, make better
For our time is short but the impact

Yes, the impact is on the future
We can impact the future
Make things a little better for those that follow.
We need the will, the desire to make change happen

Can we? Can we really?
Yes, no matter how small a change
We each have the power to bequeath
A better life.

God, grant that future generations of my family
Friends and strangers can take advantage of
That which I have been able to give.
In whatever small way, perhaps my Life has been worthwhile
