An Analysis Of Planet Three Based On Their Entertainment

Approach: popular shows on television were watched, for 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, for three of the planet's months. The findings have been organized by type of show.

News Reports: a mixture of local and national programs, describing what's going on in the areas of politics, scandals, sports, disasters, business and war. Across these programs, 80% of the broadcast time is devoted to one of their leaders, a "Trump."

Day Time Soap Operas: in addition to the News, these fast moving tales of various "affairs," often involving sexual relations between the characters in a revolving series of pairings. Murder, mystery, and mayhem result.

Sports: in addition to the News, there are live competitions, some with the largest audiences on TV. Balls of different size and shape are thrown, hit, caught, or kicked on a variety of "fields," with thousands of "fans" calling for destruction of one side or the other.

First Responders: in addition to the News, police, fire fighters, and medical professionals, struggle to maintain a safe environment for the public against a staggering number of criminals, natural and manmade disasters, and medical mysteries.

Business: in addition to the News, various methods are used to explain the ups and downs of the economy, sometimes with the urgency used on the Sports shows.

War: in addition to the News, current wars, and flashbacks to past wars, are frequently presented. War is usually a moral issue, with one side being the "good guys," the other "evil."

Conclusion: from this analysis, it must be concluded that this is an immature species, struggling to survive.

Request: this analyst requests, and truly needs, a different assignment. Watching three months of this planet's television has left me depressed and desperately needing a break.
