A true friend

A friend is everything that matters to me.
Laughing, joking around, always happy.
They will comfort you when you are sad
Making you laugh, careful to make you mad.

You will spend time together.
You will be happy. You will feel blessed forever.

But, friendships don't always last.
Sometimes it will fade away so fast.
You will feel mad, sad, and suffering.
Not being together is torturing.

But, if you are lucky,
some friendships will last.
Time will tick away,
but your friendship will stay.

You will grow old side by side,
thinking of the old times when you only used to play and hide.
How you used to help each other,
going through tough times together.

"You are never alone", we say.
Promising that to each other everyday.

A true friend is a blessing.
No matter what happens, you will always have each other.

So be thankful that you have a true friend,
That will be with you till the end.
