Goodnight I Say

Good night i say
To the day.
Good night i repeat
To my sound machine's calming beat.
To you, bright display
I must convey
Good night i say.

And you, Mirror
Upon which i reflect.
To you mirror, i must say i respect
With you mirror, i brush my teeth.
With you mirror, my day becomes inert
But to you i must assert.
This will not be my last.
For more time will pass.

And to you, window
Past which i gaze.
Through you, window
Passes the days last rays.

So i say, with enough delay.
Good night
Sleep tight
May dreams be of delight.
