The Path



The Path is not an exercise in futility. It is not an opportunity to hide from reality.
It is a focused attempt to search for self.
Existence is a given. If we have no confidence in the fact that we exist,
Then there is nothing of substance to be found, and no real reason to even search.

You have heard it said many times and in many forms.
The path is not about any physical nor existential destination.
It is truly only about the journey.

Life is an adventure, where we attempt to discover truth.
It can be a time of intense frustrations and inexplicable confusions.
Truth is an elusive commodity under the best of circumstances,
and almost never definitive.

We have the greatest challenges before us,
Which is to make an intimate decision on how to live our lives.
To learn the differences between right and wrong,
exactly what it means to love,
and who we are.

More importantly, who we wish to be.
