A humorous poem written for Grumpy's Short-Lived Poetry Contest |
She caught me with her sister and she ran back out the door; I sent a dozen roses so she wouldn't be sore no more. Then, I went back home to see her expecting an embrace. Instead, she slapped me with those roses right across my face! Now, how was I supposed to know red roses she didn't like? For instead of an embrace--I was told to take a hike.
