Our Friend, Lord Jesus, second to none…
The darkest voids lit from afar…
The presence of the glorious Son -
His wondrous grace does lift the bar.

Christ defends against all foes;
Those humbling volumes, souls partaking.
A universe of staggering woes -
These horrid matters, so painstaking… 

The Father’s love, such joy and rapture -
Giving strength, a peace so pleasurable…
Those grateful souls routinely capture
A destined ethic, a poise immeasurable.

Believers saved, these burdens lifted;
The Sweet Lord’s Word, a gleaming reference;
Heartfelt truths, such lives are sifted;
The Bible’s teachings evoke a reverence.
