About resilience

Each wavering breath is my courage escaping my grasp
Each thudding heartbeat is my body reminding me
That although my vision may be clouded in emotion
And the life within me may be struggling and weak right now
Each thudding heartbeat is my body reminding me
That I have battle wounds from far greater things than this moment
And a spirit within me that simply can't be broken
Each thudding heartbeat is my body reminding me
That I can keep going.
