I started from nowhere, I'm still almost there.
No, these ain't tears in my eyes


they're raindrops on my face.


No, I don't mind standing outside.


It's better than 'knowing and sitting in my place'.


I'll be standing right out here


through the cold, the rain, and the glum.


Waiting for the warmth of daylight


for my place in the sun.
