This was the title of a poem I wrote one morning while looking over a lake. The only full line I can remember from it is “a day in a life when our hearts might unite”. I wrote the poem in the summer of 2018. Now lets go back to the summer of 2022 when I was working as a paint mixer at Lowes Home Improvement. There was one day I was in the paint kiosk and one of my coworkers was talking to customer. I was looking their direction and I locked eyes with the customer (a woman) for a couple seconds. Then I suddenly felt a tickle in my chest. What I believe happened is that some part of our heart chakras traded places - for what purpose … I don’t yet know, and may never know.
I have no evidence that that line of that poem was referring to that day and moment … except, that the piece fits the puzzle very well. I had never experienced anything like that before (at least not that I was aware of); or felt anything like that since.
