A fairy decides to ask a titan on a date and to his great surprise she agrees. |
Agon found himself within a vast forest. Tall trees claimed the skies above and blocked out the sky to the north, south and east with only the occasional break caused by a missing branch allowing one to see the roiling sky above that constantly shifted colors. Lower down his view was further obscured by massive frond leaves which came in a variety of colors. Having little grass to push through was something of a mercy though he didn’t enjoy having so much of his view of the sky obscured. It left a constant worry that some predator would swoop down from above or something would simply fall. Telling himself that he was well concealed helped a little but moving fast helped more. Despite his small height of ten centimeters his legs still easily carried him over twenty meters every second as he proceeded through the forest. His clothes did a wonderful job of blending in even amongst the shifting landscape of The Shore. That was one of the nice things about being a member of the fairy race. You didn’t require nearly as many materials as the bigger people. A human would have struggled for months to save up for a cloak of concealment, he on the other hand had five outfits made from the same material. He still avoided the various roots or what looked to be roots as he moved about. The plants here weren’t always plants and even if they were they could be very predatory. Westward the native universe’s reality and the space between could be seen interacting. Some might have said conflicting but Agon didn’t like to think of it that way despite keeping an extremely close eye on the changing distance. If the interaction moved any closer he’d be going further in very quickly, especially with no particular reason to risk himself. His backpack was loaded down with goods and while a felges couldn’t match the carrying capacity of one of the bigger folks, he didn’t need to. That looks promising! A surge of delight gripped him as he spotted a pattern on the bottom of some of the nearby fronds and even on the ground. His path shifted and thankfully it was taking him towards the east instead of the west. Yeah. They’re repeating more often now and they look to be letters or perhaps numbers as well. Okay, if this turns out to be a fragment of knowledge I’m going home today. At this rate the universe is going to decide I owe her something. His pace slowed and the felges shifted. His smile vanished and he quickly moved back and to the left several meters. A sense of unease gripped him making it hard to keep still even as he scanned the environment. Motion was his natural response to feeling threatened as there were few things which could actually catch him while moving. No broken branches, no claw marks, no disturbances in the light between the branches, trunks or leaves. No paw prints that I can see. “I have been doing very poorly at dice recently.” When nothing happened for a few more seconds he once again continued. Careful. The Lady can always collect on her debts when she wants and you never know how much you owe. You just have to be careful about how you pay. And that is a fragment of knowledge. Light with a recognizable formation could now be seen amongst the plants that had clearly been influenced by the fragment’s presence. Instead of speeding up, Agon adjusted and began to move far more carefully. Excitement and greed urged him on but that only made him more determined to pay attention to his senses. And he felt a potent presence nearby. Even with a prize so nearby, Agon's eyes shifted upwards frequently. All members of a fairy species needed to be weary of their surroundings and he was exploring The Shore. I see you. A group of flowers that had wrapped around a tree drew his attention. They reminded him of roses but the color was a bit off and even the petals had tiny little thorns. More importantly they had grown from the top of the tree downwards. He followed them and soon the presence in the sky became clearer. He took a moment to steady himself but kept his breathing steady. An aether lurker and you seem pretty well set up to ambush someone. Are you intentionally using a shard of knowledge as bait or did you just get lucky? The shard looks to be about 34 millimeters based on how it's tilting and pretty good purity. I could grab it and run before the lurker knows that anything is wrong. If they even realized that something is wrong. He squatted and stood up feeling the heft of the goods in his backpack. But it might be even larger than I realize. There might be tendrils all around me that could block off my escape path. Slipping back home should be doable even if that happened. I can’t see its feeders, the thing might have an attack ready to go right now. It’s probably hunting for something much bigger than me though. My backpack is pretty heavy. His gaze shifted and found more of the flowers to the north indicating that he was on the outer edge of the lurker’s ambush point. No. This isn’t worth owing the universe a debt over. It’s a shame, that shard might have taught someone how to create a new production spell. It’s probably a new profanity. Despite knowing the danger nearby Agon almost laughed as his mind went back to one of the greatest fiascos involving shards of knowledge. One of the world’s greatest sages had been presented with a hundred of them and people all imagined what knowledge they would impart on someone who already knew so much. It had been nearly useless with a good deal consisting of profanities he’d never bothered learning. My circle of recall has an interior diameter of three centimeters and a total diameter of four centimeters, the plate is made of copper with a high polish, the exterior is covered with a third style hedge pattern. As he thought of the circle an image appeared in Agon’s mind and he could feel its pull on him. He took a step in its direction and was greeted by cool air as the forest vanished in an instant and he was inside his apartment. A soft sigh escaped him and he stepped into the room before turning around and bending down. Good luster, no sign of corrosion. I can still see the hedge pattern clearly and. Reaching down he gently ran his fingers over the metal feeling where the pattern had been cut into the metal. “Good. It still hasn’t suffered any serious degradation.” The forest had been exchanged for a workshop. In the front of the room stood the circle of recall to aid in his return trip’s home, an emergency shower and his terminal. A massive workbench, by fairy standards, occupied the center of the room and behind that workbench were numerous cabinets and tools of his trade. It was the workbench that was visited first as Agon placed his backpack upon it and began emptying the contents. What looked to be snow crafted into the form of rocks emptied out onto the workbench. Unfortunately these were not fragments of any type but rather boosters that could be fed to spells in order to increase their power. They did not have the same value as fragments but were still worth plenty in this quantity and quality. To the point he even felt comfortable keeping a few for his own experimentation, provided they were stored away correctly before the world’s ambient mana could degrade them. Agon would have been a blur to human eyes as he moved around the room to retrieve what he needed. Four lockboxes were retrieved from one of the cabinets and placed on the desk open. The special alloy insulated against mana, preserving whatever goods were brought from The Shore but he didn’t load them immediately. Each time Agon touched one of the boosters he’d inject a tiny droplet of his own mana to see how it responded. Some degradation was caused to the boosters by this but it let him easily determine their quality and place them inside the appropriate lockbox. Including the one that was meant for his own use. In less than ten seconds the boosters were sorted, the boxes closed and put back into the cabinet. He had to slow down to record what he’d gathered otherwise the paper would be torn. The pen was placed back on the table with far more force than was required but produced a satisfying click matching how he felt with the day’s efforts. At least he felt that way at the moment, his eyes shifted to the terminal. How good he felt about the day could change drastically depending on how well the merchandise sold. Even low quality boosters could fetch a decent price when demand was high and there had been weeks where the cabinet was filled with high quality boosters and fortifiers that he refused to part with for such a low price. His work boots were left behind as he settled into the chair but didn’t bother changing into his casual clothes. Instead he slipped the terminal ring on and began channeling mana into the machine. The screen was instantly filled with static requiring him to adjust the primary and secondary dials, familiar soft clicks could be heard within the machine as the various gears responded, adjusting the glyphs contained within. His progress could be seen on the screen as the image became clearer or murkier. In less than a minute he’d brought the terminal in harmony with the webway. A terminal that can automatically tune itself to the webway, that’s what we need. His hands left the controls as his mind could guide things from here through the mana but he didn’t go to the sellers page immediately. Something else had caught his attention. Lily had decided to update her information. An instant later he found himself looking at a young woman with round amethyst purple eyes, short obsidian black hair, cute nose that turned upwards, a delicate chin and an exceptionally powerful build including breasts that would have been the size of grapes on a fairy but he knew to be bigger than his entire apartment with the woman standing fifty meters tall and having a bust measurement of forty one meters. She was the world’s only titan born in three generations and he was eager to see what she was talking about. The image began to talk and move. Lily was standing behind a table, there was a sink, stove and food storage behind her but there were also several black areas showing that this information had been taken partially from her memory. Anything not deemed important enough by the subconscious was left out. It also meant the person on screen might not fit what they were showing if their self image and reality differed but Agon had seen enough true images of Lily to know the woman had a very good idea of how she looked. “Hello, I’m glad you’ve chosen to join me for this analysis of this convergence creature.” For a moment Lily was silent as she picked up a creature roughly two times the length of her own index finger with six long thick tentacles, a clear beak and clear segments throughout its body which appeared to be plating. “Because of their strong similarities to mollusks I’m calling them ground squids. I encountered them on Jentar ninth swimming through earth and rock as if it was water. They did not crack the stone when passing through it or leave any disturbance on the surface.” She lifted the creature up to her face and proceeded to open her mouth allowing the viewers to see her grinding stone sized teeth and the massive crimson tongue within. A 1.5 meter strand of saliva stretched between her bottom molars and the roof of her mouth while droplets bigger than a fairy could be seen forming and splattering on her tongue below. Her anticipation was quite clear as she lowered the creature into her mouth. The entire thing couldn’t fit but she had no trouble swallowing it. The ease with which it slid down her throat was apparent for anyone who watched. “They have segmented plate armor that has a tendency to leave fragments stuck between the teeth when chewing and their tentacles are lined with thirty centimeter spikes that tickle across the tongue and when they go down. Raw they have a flavor similar to oysters including the mana which composes their being. This seasons nicely with an acidic white wine rub. When boiled under pressure their armor plating softness and a sweetness comes out of the meat which goes poorly with the wine bath but pairs better with peppers. Finally when fried the shell is softened while the meat takes on a pleasing crunch and sweetens further.” This time Lily picked up one of the ground squids which had clearly been browned. Agon could feel his heart racing as she brought it to her mouth. Is she going to swallow this one whole as well? His answer came a moment later as her teeth easily crushed their way through the monsters. It sounded like a tree was being ripped in half over a prolonged period. There was silence when she began chewing, that mouth did a wonderful job of containing the horrors happening within but he could easily imagine the destruction those teeth were causing. Lily finished off the fried squish before speaking. “The mana contained within the creature responds well to the oil during frying. Of these methods fried produce the most beneficial experience but is also the most costly and time consuming. I’ll be finishing them off raw.” “Remember all convergence creatures differ. The information I provide here likely does not apply to other monsters even of similar make. Should you use this information I suggest trying to sense the life moving throughout the ground and remember they do not disturb the earth, trying to sense vibrations will leave you blind. Rendering the local mana unusable while they’re under ground should be effective. I’ll include more details in my monster journal.” “Those things could threaten a giant and you’re treating them like tidbits. Well, that’s one of the advantages of being a titan.” The video hadn’t ended. Rather Lily had continued to make a meal out of the monsters though she’d added a few extra dishes. She had brought out various plant stalks that giants could easily digest and some massive beats he doubted were meant to be eaten like that. From a distance it looked like a fairly pleasant meal, if a small one compared to her. There was no doubt many people had continued to watch this casual display of power based on the comments that were left behind. “I believe I now know why some fairies become upset when you call them a snack.” Stuck out to him. He didn’t know who had left the comment but suspected they would be human. It was possible and even likely that Lily could make a giant or a dutan feel that way but neither of them would admit it. “You think you’re scared? She could fit a small village of fairies inside of that mouth and wouldn’t need to chew. It is good she’d make them clean her teeth at the worst.” A shiver went through his mind as he remembered what Lily had said about the monster shell getting stuck in her teeth. “And that would have to smell so bad.” The fairy’s smile grew a little wider as he watched Lily taking her time. She was spacing the monsters out now and he suspected she was making sure they’d last to the end instead of finishing them all off and being left a bunch of plants to struggle through. “You do love your meat. To the point you need several five meter long two thousand kilogram monsters to satisfy you.” He blushed a bit and brought up the direct message feature. “She has to receive so many of these everyday. Okay universe, you cost me a fragment of knowledge today. Prepare a message.” **************************************** Being able to walk without worrying about breaking something and enjoy modern creature comforts at the same time was such a pleasure it made staying still hard for Lily. Currently she was keeping an eye and more importantly a nose on a dish consisting of pumpkins, mellons, dice monster bits and some wonderfully fatty pork. She didn’t hesitate to use her left hand to stir the dish and flip the ingredients whenever they began to get too done on one section. The heat posed no threat to her. Her right hand held her terminal letting her take glances at the responses to her most recent memory drop. “Doesn’t eating animals whole make you uncomfortable?” The question brought more than a little amusement to the titan as she read it and then read it again. Her left hand departed from the stove for a moment and gently rubbed her abdomen as her mind turned back to a recent treat “You must be new to my page. How long until you come to a memory of me swallowing them alive? The power trip that comes with feeling them struggle to survive in my stomach is such a wonderful seasoning. Fried ground squid wouldn’t have been the best if I had some living samples to enjoy.” Before her hand left her stomach Lily made a point of giving it a quick smack. A jolt of pleasure greeted her when she could swear she felt something inside. “Are you still alive inside there?” Once again her hand returned to the stove. She liked how the ingredients came together but some cooked so much faster than the others. At the same time she tried to focus on any sensation coming from her stomach. “I believe that I can feel you. You should be proud of giving me so many pleasant tingles and such a feat of survival.” Her smile grew a little when the activity seemed to increase. “Unless this is all in my head, your group did a good job.” At last the dish was lifted from the stove and pan placed upon a table that appeared to have been designed to accommodate two people. A fork wasn’t needed but she still liked to eat with one as she settled down. “You’re welcome to share my meal with me if you’re still alive.” The first watermelon that went into her mouth tasted so sweet and the animal fat added a wonderful bit of saltiness to it as she once again looked to her terminal. “Hi Lily. I recently watched your latest memory, the one featuring the earth squid, and you are absolutely adorable when enjoying a meal. The little twist dance you did while savoring the friend version was especially adorable. Thank you for your continued culinary studies of the monsters which threaten our world and for sharing what you learn. Being able to determine so much about their manaforms from taste is remarkable and shows how seriously you take your work even when enjoying it. If you have the spare time and are inclined I’d also like to meet up for a date at some time. I’m an explorer of The Shore myself and have some things I believe would surpass even the fried version in flavor and would like an opportunity to discuss manaforms with you as well. I study manaforms myself albeit by taking manaforms I’m comfortable with and charging them with boosters to see how they’re influenced. Using them on manaforms that aren’t meant to be strengthened, such as silence, has had some interesting results.” A soft eh was Lily’s immediate response as she saw the message. “When was the last time someone had the nerve to ask me out like this? So are you a giant who thinks he can tolerate being around someone so much bigger than himself or maybe a human who wants to see what a fairy feels like?” The message opened up and she had to read Agon’s profile several times before she could believe her eyes. A fairy had asked her out. Amusement bubbled up within Lily and lifted her mood even higher. “Not only are you a fairy asking me out but a felges on top of that.” Once again her fork dipped into the pan and this time she brought up a chunk of monster meat. It was so small she wouldn’t need to chew to swallow it. “You are even smaller than this, can’t fly and you’re asking me out. Okay. If you’re brave enough.” ************************************* Already? Instantly Agon felt silly as his first instinct was that Lily had responded to his message. She had a massive number of followers and may not even be receiving messages at the moment. Assuming that the message was from her just because he reached out to her recently felt very silly. That awkward feeling became surprise when he opened it up and not only was it from her but it was also a contract. He had to read it twice to make sure he understood. “Only four fairies that have dated me. You are the first who asked me instead of volunteering. That alone makes you curious and your talk of a flavor from The Shore elevates you to interesting. I will accept your invitation if you accept.” A soft laugh escaped Agon as he looked at the message. This wasn’t just a casual acceptance to meet somewhere. This was a contract. Backing out of this wouldn’t be as simple as not showing up after agreeing. She would know where he is, the contract would make sure of that. “I guess she really doesn’t like it when someone asks her out and then fails to show up. Was there some incident with that a few years back?” His body was made to shiver when a droplet of sweat suddenly rolled down his back and he felt his heart beating fast even for a fairy. “Do I accept and go on a date with someone who might accidentally inhale me or do I decline and give up on a chance that might never come again?” He looked away from the screen, towards the ceiling and the universe that was beyond it. “So this is what I get for missing out on that fragment of knowledge or for surviving a lurker encounter. I’m not sure which one of us has a debt here.” The sound of a felges foot rapidly striking the ground soon drew his attention and he forced the limb to stop. “You asked her out on a date and promised to bring something from The Shore for her to enjoy, she has accepted your request. Agon, you now have an obligation to fulfill.” He exhaled. It felt strange to hit the accept button and feel the low level magic take effect. “This is what you get for believing you won’t be called to uphold your oath. Like the fool who signs up to be a guard and never believes he’s going to have to fight just because peace has held for decades. You are the fool guarding the gate but unlike him I shall not run.” It seemed like his legs would drag him out of his seat when another message came through. “Meet me at The Timber tomorrow evening. You will be my only date as I had no plans for romance this weekend. My undivided attention will be yours.” “I might die tomorrow.” As the words left him Agon felt a mixture of dread and excitement. Lily’s dating activities were public knowledge, as a titan she drew massive amounts of attention and even giants couldn’t keep up with her. Rather her dates tended to be more like toys or adornments and he’d never seen her with less than three giants or at least five humans. Now a fairy was going to have her undivided attention. “Maybe that lurker was supposed to spot me.” ************************************************ Myada 4 3011, Friday Her size alone assured that she drew attention and her exceptional figure magnified that effect by several times but she still liked dressing to enhance the results. Doing so made her feel more like a woman. For today’s date Lily had chosen a tight black shirt which adhered to her like a second skin, except for a large section over her chest where there was no material, a bright blue jacket which had no hope of truly covering her, a black thong and chain stockings that produced a wonderful jingle when she walked. Clearly the attire was having the desired effect as the border guard was desperately struggling to decide where his eyes should go. Most giants made use of bikes on the roads but those who were physically capable of maintaining safe speeds without mechanical aid and chose to do so were common enough that he’d become used to them. However, Lily was so far beyond even that he’d been caught off guard. She’d passed personally powered vehicles and motorized ones with casual ease during her approach and her walk swayed her hips with every step. Light constantly glinting off the chains which adorned her legs helped to draw eyes to them and he wondered if anyone had missed their turn off while admiring the view. “Passport please.” There was a slight surprise and a bit more amusement at being asked for her passport. The border gaurd’s dazed state had left her unsure if he’d remember. She reached into one of the tiny jackpockets and bent at the knees bringing her rump closer to the ground and causing it to loom over the vehicle which had pulled up a little too close to her. In the past this had caused people to flee their vehicle out of fear she was going to sit on them but they remained seated. Stupid is how he felt at the moment as he looked at the document. She was the only titan born to the giants in three generations and the single most accomplished monster hunter in the world. Everyone knew who Lily Trem was and there was little that anyone could do to impersonate her. Actually looking over the document made him feel even more idiotic but he wouldn’t back down now. The official seals were all recognized as was her status as a monster hunter. “I see you need to renew your monster hunter status in Vita.” “Yes. Doing so will be fun.” And probably terrifying for my testers. Thoughts of teasing the testers made Lily’s small smile grow a little more though it didn’t quite become a complete smile. Small talk suddenly didn’t seem like such a good idea. He forced himself not to question or even wonder who it would be fun for. “And your reason for visiting Egrev?” “I have a date.” It felt like her words had smacked him in the face, a sensation that was enhanced when he actually took several steps back. Suddenly her choice of attire made far more sense. Don’t ask to search her you fucking idiot! The thought rang through his head and he realized that’s what he was about to do. Legally they could search anyone entering the country, especially someone with so much space to hide things on her person but this didn’t seem like an appropriate time. “And how long will you be staying?” A soft laugh escaped Lily this time and she was actually smiling. The way he’d almost begun running was amusing. “Only for today, I don’t foresee him taking me back to his place.” “Everything is in order, please proceed.” Fear gripped him as something jerked him upwards, immediately he believed she'd grabbed hold of him but then his feet hit the ground once again and noticed the squeak of shocks along with several stunned looks. The wind still rushed around him having been thrown into chaos and a simple truth hit him. That powerful gust of wind had been the result of her standing up. He took several steps back just before another gust hit him as she began to walk. Legs over twenty eight meters tall with thighs nearly seven meters wide carried her away at speeds far exceeding what vehicles were allowed. The earth shook and he remembered to look up to see how that thong vanished between her cheeks. “Yeah, she caused a lot of people to miss their turn off.” He forgot to remind me not all roads are rated for giant use and ensure I know what to look for. Maybe I should leave him a little reminder of how heavy I am. Lily’s eyes glanced to the side of the road. Her legs tensed and prepared to step down on it with her natural gait. Save it for after the date, you don’t want distractions for this one. A felges of all things. How many years has it been since someone invited me on a real date? Three I believe, at the very least two. Excitement caused Lily’s legs to move a bit faster and her hips to sway more. The interstate was having its strength tested more and more while those vehicles and even other giants that her feet came too close to were made to bounce a little bit higher. She also enjoyed the rattle of her stockings as she continued. Her right index finger began to rub her delicate chin. I never heard of a truly insane fairy. Their natural mana stability helps keep them together. Maybe he encountered something on The Shore. He did mention bringing something tasty from it. ***************************************** Over one hundred magically enhanced seventy meter tall trees came together to form The Timber. Their uppermost branches wove together to form a ceiling from which thousands of glowing gords grew, beneath those branches tables and walkways for those comfortable in the sky resided on yet more of them. At ground level the roots merged together to create a self repairing hardwood floor and rose up to form accommodations for those who preferred to be closer to ground level. Some of the trees even included cavities for those who didn’t like feeling so exposed. Despite lacking wings Agon was in the upper most level. His lack of wings meant this wasn’t the most suitable area for him but he had no trouble with the walkways beyond some general frustration over how slowly everyone else walked. Felges were not meant to walk less than five meters per second and even that annoyed him. “Can I take your order Sir?” The voice made Agon jerk slightly as he’d been looking over the edge at the people below. He counted three giants in the entire club and one of them was clearly an employee. A fairy with neon pink wings and a waitress's uniform had approached him. “Not yet, I’m waiting for my date to arrive and would hate to order without her.” There was no hesitation on the waitress's part. “Are you meeting with a pretty lady tonight?” “Yes, she even made me sign a contract to ensure I show up.” An amused oh was the waitress’s immediate response. “Business or pleasure?” “Pleasure.” “She’s had guys stand her up in the past hasn’t she? Well, be good to her and call out when you’re ready to order.” A nod was Agon’s only response as the fairy took off and he checked his watch. The gentle swaying of the tree drew his attention long before he heard the rustling of the leaves. It wasn’t the severity that caught his attention however but rather the frequency. It was far too often causing him to look down to see if something was being done to the trees. Then he felt the mana presence wash over him. A lot of something was currently moving towards the club. “Great.” Every eye in The Timber turned to the door as it was taken up by what was clearly a woman’s lower half. Those who could think clearly immediately realized who those legs had to belong to while others questioned if they were looking at an illusion. Any fairy would have told them an illusion does not have this kind of mana presence and regulars of The Timber knew a voice didn’t reach through the walls like that. “This place lists itself as welcoming to titans.” Despite her words Lily didn’t feel true annoyance, if she let such frequent happenings trouble her she’d always be angry. She simply didn’t want to show how amused the opportunity made her as she bent down in order to see inside of the building and twist to get inside. Her simple movements caused powerful winds near the entrance and the floor shook with her presence. Chunks of wood were torn away from the entrance as her tits and rump brushed against them but did nothing to slow her down as she skilfully maneuvered her way inside. There she is. Agon could feel his heart pounding inside of his chest. He’d been close to giants before, he’d even ridden on a few of them and believed he knew what big meant. Now that he felt the trees swaying in response to her shifting weight, heard the creeking of the wood and his clothes were ruffled by the winds he knew watching the memories of Lily had done nothing to prepare him for this meeting. She slipped into the building with a grace far beyond what something that big should have. Then she stood up. The movement were fast even to the eyes of a felges and clearly far quicker than the fairies above her hand expected. A group of three fairies met with her right shoulder and grabbed onto the jacket while he saw one lower down be swallowed up by her cleavage. Then there had been some right above her head that he couldn’t see anymore. It had all happened in less than a second. Too fast for most to even realize what was going on even if they were caught up in it. Awareness of her surroundings was absolutely vital to a titan. If she wasn’t aware of what was going on around, above and especially beneath her someone died. Lily could feel the mana presence of everyone in the room. Her eyes and ears only confirmed what she could already sense. She had known where Agon was even before entering the club thanks to the connection through the contract despite it now having been fulfilled. He had shown up on time. “Hello Agon, seeing the man who invited me on a date is good.” The tree still moved when Lily approached it but it was no worse than it had been now that she was inside. Clearly she was controlling her footsteps to diminish the impact. At the same time he could hear the clink of metal upon metal. He stood from his chair and moved to the edge of the platform even before she could reach him. “Good evening Lily, thanks for accepting my invitation. You’re even more beautiful and terrifying in person.” He approached and complimented me. There was a moment of pause as Lily looked upon her date for the evening. She had expected him to remain in his seat like her other dates had, as if they feared she’d knock them over just by walking. It was a legitimate fear but having a man rise to greet her was nice and he’d even complimented her. Her right hand pushed into her cleavage and his eyes immediately followed it validating her choice in this evening's attire. Only a few moments were needed for her to remove the five fairies that had been caught between her breasts. She had five fairies trapped in there? Agon confirmed this as he watched several faires lift off from Lily’s hand. They seemed confused but unharmed and the ones who had landed upon her shoulders had departed on their own. Then he watched her skillfully moving her fingers through her hair. They are tangled in her hair! Fairies were not as delicate as they seemed but everyone else was fragile compared to her and Lily knew this. She took her time to determine how every fairy trapped in her hair was, how they were oriented, the condition of their limbs and especially their heads. It took some extra care but they soon began to come free and a waitress drew her eye. “I require a chair and table suited to me.” Instantly the fairy gave a quick nod. “Right away Miss!” Based on where she was moving Lily had no doubt the fairy had gone to speak with management. This place had registered itself as accommodating all species, clearly they had stopped at giants and not considered a titan might call upon their services. She looked down at her date as the last of the fairies came free and flew away. “It is a pleasure to meet you in person.” Everyone in the club would be looking at Lily now and the person she was speaking to. Agon couldn’t bring himself to worry about that. She had his full attention. “Thank you for accepting my invitation. It was a lily surprise. Especially considering how far you had to travel for a date.” Someone using her name in the place of big wasn’t uncommon but doing so still amused her. “You should consider my surprise. Had your request been a jest or you retreated it would have been one of several but you accepted. How very interesting. There was no choice but to meet the fairy who would be so bold. Or insane.” How long will they need to bring her a seat? They’re probably having to figure out how to even do that. I will keep standing with her. The people walking around her feet must be very nervous. “I should have asked you sooner. Especially when you were studying the lightning fish.” “Which ones?” “The flying fish-like monsters that you were forced to shoot down which used 4pF37 as part of their manaform. I had never heard of that form being used to aid in flight and after looking it up I was surprised that it even could.” “I have often regretted fairies shying away from my attention. Your natural affinity for manaforms has always been interesting. Do you believe that 4pF37 aided in the monster's flight?” Despite being made to feel so small Agon felt his excitement build. It was enough to make him forget himself long enough to wipe away some sweat. If she breathed too hard she could clear out one of these platforms. “No. The moment I looked up the form I could feel it negating any attempt to fly. That monster was not flying through the atmosphere, it was crawling on something else.” Her lips parted slightly in a smile. “I had the same theory. That too few remains were left behind is upsetting.” “I’d be happy to give you a fairy’s perspective pertaining to manaforms whenever you want. I’ve often wanted to discuss them with you and have always liked taller women.” The tree was made to shake causing Agon to glance to the floor so far below. Lily had lifted her right heel causing most of her weight to shift to the left foot. That simple shift in her stance had shaken everything around her. “Your desire for a date makes more sense.” “You’re also an amazing dresser.” Agon found himself grinning. Part of him felt like he was laying the praise on a little thick but he couldn’t stop himself. Perhaps it was the bit of him that was actually afraid of the building sized woman before him. Or perhaps it was the wonderful view she presented. She permitted herself to laugh lightly and even gave her head a slight shake. It had been fun but she didn’t want to have more fairies caught in her hair tonight. “I quite like this outfit myself, it’s wonderfully functional.” That isn’t going to keep anybody warm or dry. “In what way?” Her right hand raised up along with its index finger. “It keeps my dates stunned long enough for me to get within arms reach. Like it did with you.” There was no hiding the slight embarrassment he felt as he realized the truth of what she’d said. “That is not difficult to achieve when you’re the person wearing it.” Parting her lips to reveal teeth larger than the felges Lily leaned closer to the tree, her shifted center of gravity caused the entire thing to shake. By the time she stopped he was within reach of not just her arms, but her tongue. This close she knew he’d feel the moisture in her breath. “Thank you.” He didn’t even step back but smell that anxiety. You are a brave one, we could have fun together. Her mouth is so close. She could fit my entire apartment in there. “Your gift! I did promise you something tasty from The Shore.” Turning away, Agon froze for a moment as there were far more empty seats now than when Lily had arrived. Over half of the tables still had food on them and several of them had barely been touched. His eyes shifted upwards where he noticed even more tables and even caught some fairies flying away. They must not be able to handle being near a titan. Being presented with a three centimeter long and single centimeter wide box was amusing but Lily knew not to discount the value of what was inside. That it came from The Shore only made that even more certain. “Is it stable enough to endure my presence unprotected?” “Don’t leave it open once you’ve seen it but yes.” Agon had a huge smile on his face as he held the box up to Lily and over the edge of the platform. This was something he’d been holding onto for his personal studies but he felt certain she’d love it. Her fingernail didn’t even touch me. “Do you file your nails to make interaction easier?” “Yes.” She felt the latch holding the box shut before she saw it. With a well practiced motion she easily manipulated it with the side of her fingernail. A moment later the box was open to reveal a bright fragment whose color pattern she immediately recognized, before shutting the box. “I had been expecting a fragment of flavor or even one of pleasure.” “That would have been too obvious.” Agon could feel himself smiling and even rested his hands upon the railing to bring himself closer to Lily. It felt like he could reach out and kiss her lips from this position but while the jump would be easy to make, he wasn’t quite ready to leap towards the titan’s mouth. Her face moved back letting him see all of it. She had a smile for him. “Thank you, but how do you associate a fragment of life with flavor?” “You mentioned preferring the taste of fried ground squid but I know from other videos you really enjoy living food. With that you can have the best of both! Its quality is limited, I wouldn’t expect more than thirty minutes of life with that one but you should be able to enjoy it.” Fondness for Agon was growing quickly. Most of her dates chose to ignore that aspect of her videos as best they could. Now she had someone asking her out on a date not only acknowledging that preference but embracing it as well. She gave the box a very gentle squeeze. I should show him something nice. Her hand moved it towards her jacket as if going to place it within a pocket but then it dipped lower and her left hand aided it. There was already an abundance of skin on display through LIly’s boob window but clearly there was so much more to appreciate. There was no attempt to divert his gaze and Agon was extremely grateful for a felges’s natural speed as Lily opened the window far wider than it needed to be to place the lockbox atop her tit. He nearly jumped after it as she didn’t release the material but lowered it back into place herself first. Nothing could be seen of the container despite the material being so tight. “Thank you, for the thoughtful gift. I shall return the lockbox later.” “Mam, sorry for the wait. We have a seat prepared for you.” Lily’s smile shifted from large to more moderate but she slowly turned her head to see what solution had been found. A floating stage was currently being guided towards her by several staff members. That looks to be rated for giants and their equipment, it should be able to handle me. She pointed to the platform. “Can that support me?” Her mouth opened in clear preparation to say yes. The fairy froze, closed her mouth and then looked at Lily. Her eyes shifted to the ground below, up across the expanse of her body and to her face. By now the platform had moved extremely close but she still took a few seconds to examine it. She smiled once more. “Absolutely!” Agon had also been examining the manaform that kept the platform afloat. The magic is strong enough but did she examine the material as well. Everyone below her has already cleared out. That is a good idea. Clearly the platform had not been made for speed but Lily resisted the urge to take hold of it and speed the process along. Instead she observed and waited for it to be moved into place. I should sit down carefully this time. If I break it people could still end up dead. You need to move further away from me if you want to be safe in the event of a fall. Her rump touched the platform and she felt it drop a few centimeters before pushing back and lifting up. The entire process took less than a second but she had more weight for it to carry so she relaxed her thighs further. There was no cushioning beyond what her own body offered but it wasn’t the worst seat Lily had made use of. Her buttocks even had plenty of room upon the platform, even if it would have been amusing if she overflowed it. “This will do. Now I’d like to order.” “Of course Mam!” As the fairy spoke there was excitement accommodating her words. Lily had required some improvisation but the potential for sales was impressive. “I will take twenty seven thousand liters of hard citrus as a starting drink. To eat, I want five thousand kilograms of premeat and three crates of melons.” As she finished speaking a slight rumble from her stomach issued forth and it was clear everyone could hear it. It had not been her intention but the result was amusing. “Immediately!” She turned, her wings flapped aggressively and the sky darkened. The waitress felt a gentle pressure while her wings began frantically smacking something soft above and below her. It was more the color of those objects which caused her to realize she was between Lily’s fingers. “I am not alone.” Rather than release the waitress Lily didn’t hesitate to bring her closer to Agon between her fingers. The other woman nearly vanished between her digits and would have if she wasn’t mindful of her position. Her presence provided a pleasant stimulation for her fingers which began to gently shift rubbing against her. She grabbed her so fast. Even magic wouldn’t have helped her avoid that. Could I even escape from that? I’m fast but so is she and she has longer strides and reach. Agon took a deep breath and looked into the eyes of the other fairy. Clearly she was alarmed but she was keeping herself together. How does it feel between those fingers? “I’ll have an egg steak and a mawberry light.” “Right away.” Most humans and dutan would have struggled and perhaps even failed to keep their composure if grabbed like this. A giant would have outright panicked. The waitress was clearly alarmed but she was controlled. Lily released her but didn’t drop her, rather she left the woman resting upon her index finger. Such impressive self control and she doesn’t even have to worry about killing someone if she has an accident. She’s not even rushing. Instead of flying away the waitress had taken the time to fix her uniform and Lily had been careful to keep her hand very still to not rush the other woman. It even seemed as if the fairy was taking her time to depart in a sort of powerplay. Perhaps I should have pushed for more dates with fairies than other species. If only more of them were interested in me. But perhaps that doesn’t matter now. Her attention returned to her date who had finally made his way over to a seat and settled down. He was waiting on me to be seated. Such a gentleman. “You mentioned a ground squid, but what would you truly like me to use this fragment of life on?” The question caught him off guard and it showed in his posture as he tensed up. “I hadn’t given it any thought, it’s a gift for you.” “Think about it.” There was a moment of anxiety. Should I really tell her how I want her to use it? She might think I’m off but she might like it too. And if she doesn't the truth will come out later. She might even know already. Agon resisted the urge to shift in his seat despite a problem causing him discomfort. “Don’t hold back, I’ll record it for you. You would hate to miss out on this opportunity.” Her smile shifted into something a bit more smug as she could see, hear and especially smell Agon’s response this close to her face. He’s afraid but also extremely excited. A flightless fairy is turning out to be one of the best matches for me in taste. How interesting. And our size difference does open up opportunities. “I’d like you to use it on an imp.” He felt the wind as she leaned forward and could sense the manaform on the platform changing to accommodate her. “Do you want to pretend that the imp is you?” Her mouth opened wide enough to devour the entire platform as if it was a cracker. The sound of seats being knocked over and frantically beating wings delighted her ears as those remaining fairies had chosen to flee and soon she could smell their fear. It was a heady delight. “No. That isn’t right.” He could feel the humidity from her breath, it had settled onto his skin and even soaked into his clothes a bit. She wasn’t drooling like when she eats in her videos. That was just a tease. “I’m going to pretend that it’s a giant instead.” Her mouth shut slowly as Lily leaned back but didn’t quite return to her previous position. Instead she stopped at just the right position to present her date with a view of her cleavage. His clear struggle to resist the urge to stare was met with approval. Dates who saw her as a building or even a landscape instead of a beautiful woman were not suitable. There was a clear smile on her face. “We have not gotten to our meal yet and already I’m having so much fun. I like you Agon.” “I’ll have you doing more than liking me by the time the evening is up.” I fucking said that! By the universe I actually said that. How the fuck am I going to do it! I’m absolutely soaked just from her opening her mouth too close. There is no way I could have gotten away if she’d actually lunged for me. And that mana presence. Even escaping into The Shore isn’t going to happen. Maybe I could get away with the help of haste but I’d have to finish casting before she took hold of me, if she didn’t just squish me. Even that might not be fast enough! What should I do? Stop relying on her to carry the conversation. You’re off to a good start. “I’ve seen you on The Shore or at least I’ve seen your presence.” She scooted forward, taking the platform with her though only a meter. “I’ve never spoken to someone who personally saw my presence on The Shore.” “ A lot of us have. Most recently I saw you five weeks ago in the distance. Reality was pushing out around you and driving the aether back in huge waves. That fragment of life actually came from there along with lots of over goods.” She tapped her left thigh enjoying the feeling of contact upon it. “Five weeks ago I was working with several hunters to destroy a large monster nest which had been discovered.” “The Red Fins, I watched your memories of them. It’s amazing and even a little frightening at times what you can learn about a creature’s manaform by eating them.” I should show her that I pay attention. “You were even able to figure out the manaform that was aiding in their rapid reproduction. I’ve read articles about businesses trying to use them in food production.” Hearing her research praised was satisfying but it also brought some guilt. I should look into his research so that we can compare notes. “You mentioned the use of boosters.” “Yes but I don’t publish my work. It’s just my own hobby.” “You don’t want others stealing your work.” She did not feel surprised but was amused when Agon shook his head in the negative. “No. I haven’t made any discoveries that are worth publishing yet, unlike you. I believe The Red Fin manaform was 2pF128+2pF23 +3pF7+2 pF128+ 3pF527-2pF49 +3pF7 +3pF7 and I want to say that there was a minus 3pF89 and plus 2pF5 in there as well. That’s something that seems like it could be used to aid in the rapid production of eggs.” She blinked. “That might work. There was no 2pF5 in the manaform that I discovered. Instead it consisted of 4pF2 - 3pF169.” The way Agon blinked was extremely cute. “I don’t recognize those manaforms. The number you can remember is just remarkable. I wouldn’t even expect a two hundred year old giant to know that many.” And you’re not even capable of casting spells! “You are good too. And your ability to improvise is impressive.” “It’s part of being a fairy, we all have a natural feel for what magic is going to work.” “Often that means you don’t bother learning the structures but follow your feelings. You’re impressive there as well.” She felt her cheeks growing a little warmer and even a slight blush. Having her date bring up manaforms and know what they’re talking about was wonderful. “Thanks but I’m going to stay away from the unestablished manaforms you discover.” The sound of Lily laughing felt like a tremendous victory. “That would require the proper equipment to be done in a timely way. Especially if we were to discuss manaforms of the third plane and higher.” “I would like to do that at some time.” The tables and chairs are enchanted for stability. “There is too much distance between us.” Like she had done with the waitress Lily once again reached out but this time she not only captured her target but also had their table and chair between her fingers. She lifted Agon from the table and brought him towards herself. Run! Had flashed through Agon’s mind once the light dimmed and he saw the wall of flesh rushing around him but there wasn’t time. For all of his speed he felt Lily’s fingers pressing in even before the wind had pressed him back into the chair. Her mana presence washed over him disrupting his own mana with its unfamiliar form complicating the casting of spells. Then he was seated amongst a vast expanse of fair porcelain skin and warmth. He’d been placed upon Lily’s right tit. Feeling such a delightful date settled atop her tit brought satisfaction and elevated Lily’s smile. That feels surprisingly good. Is it due to his mana presence? And he is very cute. “The convenient access these shirts offer is nice. Would you agree?” Warmth was all around him and he could feel the table vibrating ever so slightly even between breaths. A few moments were needed for Agon to realize that was Lily’s heart. He’d risen and fallen three times with her breasts before he responded. “Yes and this is the best seating arrangement I’ve ever experienced.” “No human or giant has ever let you relax inside their top?” “No.” Look up. It was hard not to laugh when Agon realized his eyes didn’t know where they wanted to settle and he’d begun to alternate from looking up and down. There was so much beauty surrounding him and his eyes didn’t know where they wanted to be. I can not rely on my natural speed to match her. I’d need active enhancement in order to escape. I’m actually on Lily’s tit. Her top looks like a partial ceiling. She probably even has a few shirts she could zip up. “Then the universe has owed you this for some time. That is one of the major benefits of being a fairy.” Her voice had been so serious but Agon couldn’t help but laugh a bit. “I don’t know about that. Now it feels like I owe a debt.” When she spoke the rumbling became more intense but the vibrations were pleasant. Should I try to harmonize with her mana presence? I should ask first at least, trying to get a feeling for another’s mana can be considered an attack. “Are you able to create the same manaform as the Red Fins?” There was a quick nod. “Yes. I don’t have a great deal of mana to work with but I have superb control. Mana supply does become an issue when something uses more than fifteen forms or when we reach the six planar manaforms.” “Can all fifteen of those manaforms be three planar?” “Absolutely!” I am sitting atop her right tit and I’m boasting of my spell casting ability. “Now I’ve been wanting to ask, you have a tendency to name monsters after fish. Is there any particular reason for that?” There was a brief hum. Why do I name them after fish? “Most of them do look like fish to me. I grew up eating far more fish than any other type of animal and with monsters being one of my major food sources they come across as fish-like. Does Red Fin seem off?” “I thought they looked more like lizards. How many times have you used the name Red Fin?” He heard the impact and could imagine how the other tables were made to shake. Lily had tapped her foot. “I can remember using the name Red Fin three times but I strongly suspect I have used it more. It is in the top fifty most commonly used names for convergence born monsters.” Her smile shifted in nature slightly but didn’t diminish. Talking about monsters was making her feel hungry. “That the convergence creates more types of monsters than I encounter on The Shore still amazes me at times. I attribute it to the variety of life found throughout the world.” “Have you seen anything to support that theory?” “Other than the variety of forms monsters take on, no. I know some believe that the monsters receive their forms from our collective perception of them. But with some of the horrors people have dreamed up I can’t buy into that. Otherwise there would have at least been one monster who looks and acts exactly like a person helping them from the shadows.” “Wasn’t there a movie based on that?” His nod was swift. “Yes there is. The Hunters Call, did you ever see it?” “Horror movies have never held much interest to me. I struggle to feel threatened by monsters like you would struggle to feel threatened by your egg steak. That I would like to arrive soon.” As she spoke Lily turned her head and looked around the building. Her stomach was becoming more vocal. She could actually feel herself beginning to salivate and the smell of so many things to eat around her was not helping the situation. Let’s try to distract her. “I could see that! But you do like high fiction, has anything caught your interest recently?” “I was looking forward to The Derelict season three until they decided to make changes to the Wader. Now I refuse to see one of my favorite characters made into a mockery by some fool who believes they can do better than the original author they built their career on.” As she finished speaking Lily wrapped her arms around herself defensively while annoyance managed to make its way into her voice. “I’ve read a bit of the book but haven’t gotten very far. What did they change?” “Several things. For one, the Wader does not struggle to reach or leave The Shore. In the books and in season one he can do this so quickly it’s part of his combat style. They have also made him far easier to bully. You’re an aether diver, how would you respond to someone telling you how to do your job?” “They would need to pay me a lot of money!” A moment of embarrassment gripped Agon but the answer had come out too quickly. His world shook a little more energetically and he watched Lily nod her head. “That’s it. That is exactly how he would have behaved. But they made him less competent and a pushover who will bend to others far too easily despite knowing how important his abilities are. Finally.” Seeing Lily look to her side, Agon did the same and noted another platform was moving towards them and it was loaded down with food. “They had to grow those dishes. Seeing a massive wooden cup, plate and bowl on the platform made Lily grin. They are having to improvise a lot. “Excuse me miss, where is your companion?” Lily made a point of not moving her head but only her eyes as the fairy addressed her. She was carrying a far more typical plate of food for Agon. “There was someone here who didn’t see where I put him?” Despite her size advantage it was easy for her to see the fairies upper body stiffen. “You’re free to bring him his food.” Despite feeling sorry for the waitress, Agon couldn’t help but smile as she brought him the dishes. She really should land, she probably won’t get another chance to feel something this nice again. “Thank you.” “You’re welcome Sir and if you need anything else please let us know.” When the fairy flew away Agon took a moment to look behind himself and see Lily’s meal. Her food looked far less appealing close up, especially when she picked up what had looked like a cut of beef from a distance but now appeared to be lumber which had been painted to look like meat. Sharp cracking was heard as her teeth glided through the premeat and then there was silence as her lips pressed together sealing all sound behind them. He turned his attention to his own food. A large slice of egg was before Agon. Immediately he approved of the ratio of yellow to white. He could see a fine layer of salt covering it and more importantly pepper. The provided knife sliced through it with ease. “The food is nice and cohesive.” “Cohesive?” Why food being cohesive would be important escaped Agon at the moment as he enjoyed the first bite of the yolk. Her mouth opened revealing teeth that were bigger than her date by several times and she took a moment to run her tongue over their surface. “To these teeth a great majority of things are soft.” “But you don’t want your food splintering into little bits like the shells of the ground squids. I understand.” “You are right. How is the egg steak?” “It’s good, much better than anything I can make at home. No matter what I try, mine always comes out tough in comparison.” There was a nod from Lily and he watched her pick up a few of the melons. He recognized eight different types of melon but there was one which he couldn’t quite place. Each one of those is bigger than me and she’s eating several with each bite. Don’t bolster your body, that will just show you’re not able to handle fear. And that bite of premeat was bigger than a dutan! A dryness of the throat moved Agon’s hand to his cup and brought it to his lips. Lily had felt the same need for a drink apparently and he heard the hard citrus moving in the thousands of liters. Once the liquid was past her lips there was silence but within the cup he could hear it move. And he could imagine himself swimming in that cup to meet those lips. It’s a good thing I’m sitting down now. He forgot to take another bite of his food when Lily got another bite of the premeat but remembered before she took another. “We were talking about The Derelict.” It would have been easy to swallow the food in her mouth but Lily chose to finish chewing before she did. “You spend time on The Shore, do you believe such a ship is possible?” “Yes, in the right reality. Even ours might have some potential, did you know that the aether and reality can interact peacefully?” “I was not aware of that.” He gave a nod. “So are you going to tell me that monsters can be tamed?” She didn’t laugh but he heard and felt Lily come close. When she spoke that amusement was clear in her voice as he worked on eating more of his dinner. “Noooo. I have never heard a credible story of taming or even training a convergence monster. Their purpose is too deeply set and it’s in opposition to us.” “What about a monster that knew enough to pretend?” This time her answer wasn’t immediate and Lily took another sip of her drinking. It’d be easy to drain it instantly but she wanted it to last until her food was gone. Have I ever heard about a monster that played upon the sympathy of a hunter? Her fingers snapped. “Yes! I did not encounter them personally but I’m aware of a group of imps who captured an injured hunter and tortured him to draw the others into a trap.” “That was real? I thought it was a story someone made up.” “I do not know the exact event that you’re thinking about but it has happened more than once.” “That is not the type of sympathy I was talking about but no less effective and terrifying. Well, do you believe you could eat a cute convergence monster if you encountered one?” I might regret asking that. “The cuteness makes them taste better.” He maintained his composure well that time or maybe he was expecting that answer. I should not have asked that question. Monster doesn’t even mean the same thing to her as the rest of us. “My turn to question you about your job. What is the most valuable fragment you’ve ever found?” “That’s kind of hard to answer. If you mean, what fragment sold for the most. That would be a fragment of power I managed to recover.” “I am not familiar with all the potential fragments. What’s the difference between a fragment of power and a booster?” “A fragment of power bolsters the person using it for a limited amount of time but a booster only enhances the spell. Not only that but you know how someone who used to be extremely powerful but lost some of it because of inactivity can recover that power more easily than someone who never had it?” He’s almost done with his steak. “Yes.” Lily took a particularly big bite of her premeat. “The boost from a fragment of power is similar to that. Even after the power fades it’s easier for the person to reach that point. There are a lot of professionals who want them because of that. Some people even use them on their children to help them progress in life.” I’ve already eaten that much? Good food and company makes it go fast I guess. “The use of a booster may reveal something entirely new.” “Yes, but lots of people are already trying to go down that path. If someone is looking for personal betterment a fragment of power is the way to go. It’s a shame they’re so much rarer than boosters. I’ve left The Shore with an entire backpack of good boosters and not a single fragment several times.” As he finished up the last of his streak Agon was quick to follow it up with his drink. “That was what you sold for the most, what would you say is the most valuable?” “A fragment of restoration that someone needed very badly. Medicine, surgery and healing manaforms means they’re not needed often but when they are, they are the only chance.” Her smile is cute. This has been fun. He’s afraid of my size but excited by it and does a wonderful job of managing that fear. Hopefully he continues to excel. “That does have value. Let us dance.” There was concern but no surprise. Lily’s dates were known about and this was the part most could not handle. When she became truly physical. As she stood up his body weight increased but he easily remained standing. The ground shifting beneath his feet was a greater concern but felges were quick on their feet and he was used to different terrains. Here I go. Everyone had heard her declare her intentions and as a result many were choosing to leave the dance floor. That was disappointing, having smaller people dance around her feet was fun not that she’d be using much footwork on this flooring. Her presence had not stopped the band from playing and she liked them more for that. Her hands clasped together behind her and she began to work her hips resulting in a clinking of the chains which soon harmonized with the music. He rose up several times his height and then dropped as Lily’s breasts bounced along with her movements. There was a rush of excitement and unlike her, he made extensive use of his feet going from a stand still to forty meters per second in an instant to cross over from her right tit, onto the left and back again, with every intention of making full use of his dance floor. A jolt of pleasure shot through her body as Agon crossed her tit, each step was a pleasant tingle and when we moved so quickly they combined into a delight. Her thighs spread and legs bent as she crouched down to rest her hands upon her knees. When her hips began to work as if she was grinding against someone the music became all the more energetic as clearly the band was seeking to follow her leave. Soon her upper body had joined in the dance as she swayed her breasts to be delighted by how quickly her partner adjusted. He’s dancing with my tits. Not just riding but dancing. She was smiling. Following a complex dance pattern wasn’t an option. The ground was simply too dynamic for that. But something simple and fast was indeed an option. And already Agon had begun to mix swift, short jumps into his motions. It almost feels like I’m surfing. He sank deeper into her skin as the titan stood up but her breasts calmed. Both hands were behind her head and Lily had begun focusing most movement into her hips and belly giving Agon a more calm expanse to dance upon. Moments later he took advantage of this as his dance became even more complex with one foot constantly rubbing against her tit while the other remained ground. He was making good use of her smooth skin and his own lightness. How would this feel without shoes? Agon’s foot sank into Lily’s left tit as he pushed off against it. The supple nature of her boobs absorbed much of the energy but there was still enough to move him back to her right tit. His knee bent in response to her rising to meet him helping to diminish the force of the impact but then quickly straightened. Smooth and swift motions carried him towards her chest but the dance was still flawed. His arms were kept close in a defensive posture that helped maintain balance instead of joining the dance. Those that could track his movements would realize they were more suited to self defense than expression. Is he moving like that because he’s feeling threatened or because it’s the only way he knows how to move? That is not the scent or smile of someone who feels threatened. Gently Lily bit down on her lower lip and began to bounce her upper body with more intent causing her shoulders to rise and fall every second and her tits. She looked down at her date and made no move to look anywhere else, it was important to show her attention was upon him. Mirth and delight moved through her when he began to move even more aggressively and dopily. Clearly he was trying his best to amuse her and no longer cared how he looked. You’re fun! Below those brave enough to stay on the dance floor with the titan were suddenly made to retreat. Up until this point her feet had been still for the most part. Now she began to move forward. Each step easily covered three meters plus and none truly appreciated just how small of a distance this was to a titan. She advanced to the edge of the dance floor and some hoped she was finished but then she began moving backwards. More people fled the floor but it wasn’t entirely clear. A few dutan stayed on and even shot the giants and humans some taunting looks. It was unclear if stubbornness matching their stoney appearance kept them on the dance floor, confidence in their strength or a desire to mock those who had fled. Lights began to move around Lily and she immediately recognized that some of the fairy patrons or perhaps staff had begun to join her. They flew at different levels of her body and the dancing became more fun. It looks like some people have seen enough to realize it’s safe to dance around me. Careful or you might get stuck between my cheeks. Or perhaps it’s because my dance partner is clearly having so much fun. She began to alternate raising and lowering her shoulders causing her breasts to bounce in a similar pattern. Agon responded by switching between tits, always making certain that he was on the one highest up. The material in her top could be felt stretching and in some cases breaking, this dance was shortening the garments lifespan. There was no more face Agon’s smile could claim as he looked up into Lily’s eyes but it was trying very hard to the point it hurt. His heart was beating so fast and he didn’t even know what his feet were doing at the moment beyond keeping him standing and moving. “You are absolutely brilliant. I’ve never had this much fun dancing.” Most dance partners held onto her body, some could not do that and others even tried to get away. A few actually tried to dance with her but even when she held back dancing with her was demanding. She wanted to push Agon more, even with his movements being better suited to evasion than actual dancing. It’s no wonder people often lose track of felges in combat. The ground was becoming slicker. That’s her sweat. She really is getting fired up and at this rate I’m going to end up spending the next few days smelling more like her than myself. All well. He began to make use of the additional lubrication to slide across his dance partner’s skin. Then the ground began to move with even more energy, Lily had begun to bounce her entire body using her legs, he could hear the trees shaking in response to her movements, and work her torso at the same time in a remarkable display of coordination. Part of him wanted to retreat to somewhere stable but he pushed it to the side and moved with her breasts as if surfing. Her tit shifted beneath him making standing impossible so he leaped to the other tit and slid three of his own body lengths against her skin before regaining control. “You’re doing great!” He almost made her pause as he praised her. Not only was he dancing with her instead of riding but he’d praised her once again. She bit down on her lower lip a little harder before dropping her hips so quickly those below would have thought she had fallen. Agon remained upon her breasts and she knew that wasn’t natural. She had dropped even more quickly than gravity pulled, that was a display of a fairy’s natural affinity to nature. When she stood up and he kept standing it was a show of how well they handled acceleration. I should have dated more fairies! His attention had to shift to her breasts at this point. Lily was putting far too much energy into her dance for him to remain focused on her face and trust himself to stay upright. Fortunately focusing on her tits was extremely easy to do as he admired the expanse of flesh all around him and found himself constantly surprised by how those supple mounds of feminine power could be made to move with every motion of her body. A moment of unease gripped him as his right foot moved in a way it wasn’t supposed to and even Agon didn’t know what had happened as reflex took over but he was still standing once it was over. “You can just enjoy the ride if you want.” As she put more energy into her dance even those who had joined her were giving her more space. She was even aware of some trying to leave the dance floor. Lily moved to intercept. Her foot swung over those seeking the edge and placed itself between them and it. They immediately retreated back towards the other side and she moved again. The winds created by her bus sized feet sent some stumbling and even a few to the ground. Those who did not try to leave fared far better. “No way! This is too much fun! You’re wonderful!” Standing was becoming more difficult and there was a notion that he should make use of some spellcraft but he wasn’t ready to do that just yet. He was glad he didn’t when he heard Lily laugh. “You’re neat.” Now let's see if I can get you between my tits. ************************************ It felt like his legs were made of clay, they were just barely solid enough to keep him standing. Every breath that he took was filled with Lily’s scent and he could feel the vibrations of her heart even through the meters of tit he stood upon. His clothes were weighed down with moisture though relatively little of it was his own despite the intense exercise. “You were amazing out there.” She smiled for her date just before lifting another cup of hard citrus to her mouth and draining the contents in one go. “You impressed.” The way he gained a little strength when she praised him delighted her as he somehow found the stamina to stand a little straighter. “Good to know, because I don’t really know anything about dancing.” “That is probably why you’re so good at it. Dancing with me is a rather unique experience and you handled it wonderfully. You’re a champion boob surfer.” It sure feels like I’ve been through a marathon. “It’s a hobby that I’d love to get more experience with.” His world vibrated when Lily hummed. “You could get plenty of chances to.” “I shall look forward to it, but for now I believe I should be on my way home.” Much more of this and I won’t have the stamina to make the trip. I’m going to be dipping into the mana as is. “You’re not going to see me home?” When Agon looked surprised Lily smiled a bit more for him. “Yes, I don’t imagine you planned to cross a border tonight.” “Not tonight. Would you signal the waitress for me so I can get the bill? I’m pretty easy to miss here.” “Yes you are, I could walk out with you on my tit and you’d have no choice but to go home with me.” Normally there would be some concern when she used that line but she didn’t see that same fear on Agon’s face. She felt his mana presence shifting and instantly realized he was casting a spell. It was hard to stop herself from disrupting the manaform, her time spent hunting had turned it into a reflex. Delight traveled across her chest and up her body. He had just used a quarter of a microdrop of mana. Far more than he intended to use but he couldn’t let that challenge go unanswered. The world slowed down to a crawl and even Lily’s heart seemed to stop beating for half a minute. Had he been a human the air would have been thick and required him to push through but nature was friendly to fairies, even the branch families. Agon didn’t feel any resistance as he surged forward towards Lily’s chest. Sure nature was being nice to him but this spell used nearly a tenth of his mana and had a short duration. The hem of her boob window felt very strange. From a distance the material looked natural but up close the ropes which composed it as if they were threads could clearly be seen. How much would it cost to have her something made from fairy thread? I do not have that kind of money! But maybe a thong. Climbing at this accelerated speed was extremely easy with the aid of nature. It was almost akin to swimming with the air helping to lift him up. Agon barely had time to begin inspecting the hem of her top before he was making his way up the black garment and towards her neck. Okay I made it off her chest but that’s not good enough. I need to make it somewhere even higher. Like her nose. Damn she has short hair! Well fine! Lily was keeping still. A task made more difficult by the sudden rush of stimulation caused by a felges running across her tit at hypersonic speed. She had no idea how many steps he’d taken in less than a second but they combined into a wonderful sensation that made detecting his movements even more difficult as her mind was constantly drawn to the still blossoming sensation. The world began to slow down as her mind was pushed to work faster by the sudden stimulation. He got on my top. All of that dancing was costing him. Legs which felt like clay were being pushed to run at full speed once again. At least he’d been given some time to breathe and recover a little bit of stamina. Now they had to do better than run though. They pushed him into the air and began to kick while his arms joined them to swim through the air. Come on. You can do this. You’re a felges, you have all the time you need to reach your goal. His eyes focused on Lily’s nose while the world still seemed to be still. Where did he go? It feels like he’s standing across my tit. She didn’t want to move until she knew where her date was. Awkward things could happen if she didn’t know where they were and after such a delightful time she didn’t want to accidentally suck him up her nose, send him falling for tens of meters or worse. Trapping him inside of her clothes would have been fine. There was a moment of pain as his shoulder impacted with Lily’s nose but it faded almost instantly. There had been no actual damage, his body had just been unsure how to respond. His legs still protested as he stood and moved towards the tip of her nose but he ignored them. Instead he focused on trying to fix his clothes. The world was returning to normal now and he looked up into Lily’s right eye. “I don’t know about that. We felges are fast and slippery.” His presence was felt on her nose before it was seen or his voice heard. I didn’t have to let you cast that spell. “That would have felt even better at the right places.” Even with his close proximity Agon’s response was easy to perceive and she quite liked it. She brought her right index finger up for him. No words were needed as he stepped onto Lily’s fingernails half expecting himself to be lowered back down to her tit. He looked to the side and watched the floor approach. She ate a lot but it was premeat and hard citrus. I can cover that. Good thing this has been a solid week! Wait. It felt so strange when he went past the upper floor and back towards Lily’s chest. What am I doing? My tits really did like him! She didn’t laugh but Lily was amused as her finger changed directions and brought Amon back to where he’d been seated a moment earlier. Now where is his table? As if waiting to answer her she immediately became aware of some pulp between her breasts. The table and chare’s crushed remains had mixed with her sweat and been compressed together again and again by her tits. No point in even bringing that out. At least the lockbox is safe. Something had apparently distracted Lily and Agon was going to use that. He began to scan the area and soon spotted one of the staff flying. “Waitress! Can I.” There wasn’t time to finish as his companion had already reached into her jacket and brought out a payment card. Despite being composed of high mana retention material he could see it radiating. “A giant does not let another species pay for the meal. It’s a great way to ensure that person never wants to eat with them again.” “But I invited you on a date.” There was a moment of surprise when Agon realized he was leaning on the railing. His already claylike legs were ready to degrade to putty after that stunt. “And it was a fun one.” Clearly the waitress had no intention of siding with Agon. She had already brought out a reception pad and mana had begun to flow from between the card and the device. “Would you like some help down or perhaps home? I tend to leave my dates a bit fatigued.” He wanted to straighten up and strut around but it felt like his legs were telling him that wasn’t going to happen. That did not change his response even as a sense of foreboding came upon him as her smile shifted, not in size but nature. “I’m not in that bad of shape!” “I’ll have to do better next time.” Bringing her face closer to the platform Lily pressed her full dark red lips into the railing so that they overflowed it and engulfed the tiny figure beyond. A desire to suck him into her mouth was no surprise but the intensity was, causing her to retreat sooner than she intended. The lack of lipstick left behind made it clear to everyone this was her natural coloration. His entire body tingled and apparently had been paralyzed. All Agon could do was look on as Lily stood to her full height and began making her way towards the door. Each footstep made the railing and entire tree vibrate. Somehow he managed to remember to say something before she left. “Thanks for the wonderful time.” Okay legs, it’s time to get going. I should not have burned that mana earlier! The sound of the entry being widened by Lily’s rump was a reminder the place either needed to have themselves reclassified or make some changes. It was hard to determine what would happen, she had purchased a lot of food and drink but it was food meant for giants and she had given a lot of customers a good scare. I should take her somewhere truly meant to handle a titan. Okay, time to do some healing. That his legs felt relieved with the simple thought of healing was no surprise, a fairy’s mana control was second to no species. A very limited supply was another issue. ***************************** Only a few rays of sunlight remained as Lily made her way down the road. Her stockings now served an additional purpose. Their reflective nature did wonders to increase her visibility and let people see her coming. Technically they would also help people spot her ahead of them but those speeds weren’t typically seen on the interstate. She enjoyed feeling the cooling air rush against her skin as she walked. That was fun! He had a decent amount of fear but handled it extremely well. And the smell of his desire for me was intense, along with the erection he was packing most of the evening. It is going to be so annoying if he doesn’t ask me for a second date. Perhaps I should ask him if he takes too long and hope he doesn’t run. LIke so many of the others have. With her annoyance coming out in the form of a sigh Lily took a quick step off the road. Her foot came down with no concern for damage reduction and everything for nearly two hundred meters was made to shake or even jump as it sank two meters into the earth leaving behind an easily identifiable impression. A moment later she’d taken out her terminal and directed what little mana she had to spare into it. Had there been more traffic walking the interstate and browsing the webway would have been too risky but she felt confident. Not being able to carry your terminal with you must be frustrating. Can they even make portable terminals for fairies? Probably if they sacrificed a lot of features. But with their mana control they just might make that work. Her pace slowed as she opened up her priority messages. One in particular stood out. “Thanks for tonight’s date Lily, I had a great time and hope to see you again soon. If you want to talk manaforms feel free to reach out to me.” There was a moment of confusion as Lily tried to believe what she was seeing and then amusement as she did just that. “How close to The Timber do you live?” “Not close at all! I entered The Shore and then drew myself to my circle of recall.” “That wears down the circle.” “Yes, but I wanted to message you.” She was pleased. “I’ll contact you when there is no danger of me stepping on someone.” ******************************************** Myada 5 3011, Saturday Compared to Lily, her living room was small. It would have barely accommodated three of her. But it had never had to accommodate more than one titan and was capable of handling tens of giants, hundreds of humans or dutan and perhaps a thousand fairies. All furniture included accessibility options and the central table hid a box beneath it with suitable furniture for guests. Despite these features some would have called the room melancholy due to the heavy use of concrete in its construction and the limited color. The owner herself loved it, as a space she didn’t have to worry about casually breaking. A spell composed of twenty four manaforms, three of which were five planar and two that used nonstandard forms was on her screen. Each of the nonstandard forms had required additional information which surpassed the spell itself in complexity. Telling her that the spell was too complex for them and leaving it at that would have been the normal response and a good response would have been to question her about the manaforms themselves. A curious companion who wanted to know about her spellwork or who could pretend effectively would be nice. Agon’s response had been good and she could since it was getting better. “Where did this spell come from? Reading it is making my head tingle.” “It is based on studies dedicated to fragments of knowledge and a monster I examined that had the ability to dase opponents by directly influencing their minds.” Feeling vulnerable was such a strange thing for Lily but it wasn’t so unknown that she didn’t recognize the feeling. Someone she’d met the other day being able to bring this sensation was truly rare however. “I can see where it forms a connection to the person’s short term memory. That you managed to develop this spell without being able to personally use spellcraft is remarkable. Can you share the overall theory with me again?” “Yes. Using the manaform I learned from the monster I developed a connection to the short term memory. This was combined with the study theories to create a manaform that would retain the knowledge even after it left short term memory, connect to the permanent memory and then transfer the information.” “What manaforms are dedicated to storing that memory while the spell is active?” “Six, seven, twelve, thirteen and fifteen. Eigh through eleven it meant to avoid degradation and prevent the knowledge from becoming incompatible with the person’s mind.” Talking with someone who was actively trying to understand one of her more advanced spells was proving enjoyable. That he could offer actual insite made it even better. “That clears some things up. Give me a moment, I have to open two books on manaforms to help me out. Is sixteen meant to prevent the disruption of already existing knowledge?” “Yes.” Her free hand reached out and retrieved the cup of hot tea she had waiting on the central table. The liquid would have been bitter to the tongue of a human or fairy but was somewhat sweet to a dutan with their more robust digestive systems and especially to a giant or in her case a titan. It was also extremely good for one’s skin and hair. Do you still smell of me after last night? “What is it like when a felges really scrubs their skin? There must be high friction.” “Nature is too nice to us for that! Now if a human worked their skin like that they’d probably end up losing it.” “No wonder fairies are only allowed to play games of dice against other fairies in many locations. You must have a very high tendency to win.” “It depends. If we’d gain more from losing we have a very good chance of not winning.” She clicked her tongue and listened to the sound bounce off the walls. No one was present so she hadn’t held back and could even feel the vibrations in the air. Is that why he was able to stay standing on my tits last night? Cutely falling and ending up massaged between my breasts sound like it’d been better than staying upright the entire time. Or perhaps that was all because of his speed and experience with different environments. “This spell is very impressive. I’m amazed what you’ve managed to put together. Normally people reflexively resist any attempt to influence their mind like this making even beneficial mind altering spells tricky but this does a great job of working with the body’s natural systems. It’s just, this won’t enhance your memory. It will cause the person to forget everything from the last thirty seconds.” A moment of confusion gripped Lily as she put her cup down and used both hands to hold the terminal. Manaforms began to appear on the screen a moment later along with a detailed description on how they’d each interact with one another. She brought the screen closer to her face as if that would somehow let her better understand what she was reading. *********************************************** Spellcraft became more complex with each new manaform and with the increase in planes. Lily’s spell had involved twenty five manaforms and some were fifth planar. Just coming up with a functioning spell was amazing and made even more so when one considered she couldn’t actually cast spells. Telling her that her spell wouldn't work had felt so wrong and Agon was trying to find a way to make it function as intended. But that wasn’t something he could do quickly as despite his natural affinity the truth was her knowledge of manaforms far exceeded his own. He barely even knew any fifth planar manaforms and they were mostly related to transportation. “That is wonderful. Erasing your opponent's last thirty seconds of memory would be an effective advantage when timed properly. You could make them forget your position, that they just revealed some ability of their own or some vulnerability that you’d exposed. A method could be used several times without losing potency.” The energy in Lily’s words caught Agon by surprise. He had expected her to be upset upon learning her spell wouldn’t work as intended but clearly she’d found the positive. Good thing I told her the truth instead of lying. That could have gone very poorly. “Yeah, like those monsters that tried to flee after you revealed you could see through their stealth. You could keep causing them to use an ineffective tactic until they were all dead.” “Then I would have missed out on the fun of pursuing them.” A reflexive swallow and moment of anxiety was Agon’s immediate response to reading Lily’s words. It faded and he was back to grinning. “Then what monsters would you have used it on?” “Most opponents who I was forced to shoot down, such as the lightning fish you mentioned during our date.” He gave an understanding nod even though she didn’t see it. “I don’t imagine bullets for that artillery piece you call a sidearm are cheap.” “Hitting the wrong thing is the greater concern.” Descriptors were not needed for him to imagine the destruction such a weapon would cause if it hit a building. He instantly understood. “Has any of your prey ever tried keeping friendlies behind them so that you’re unwilling to fire?” “Not intentionally. I’ve been reviewing my spell to find out exactly what is wrong with it but I’m struggling. Please clarify.” “Look at manaform twenty two, 5pF1 causes the opposite flow to what you were intending. I tried to figure out a solution but I can’t change that one form without the entire spell unraveling and I don’t know how to change the flow.” As he sent the message Agon expected an immediate response from Lily, when none came he found himself surprised. “Give me a few minutes to examine this.” I should have seen that coming. Standing up Agon gave the screen one more quick glance before making his way out of his workshop. Once in the hall his apartment was typical for a fairy. The rooms and hallway were massive compared to the occupant with the hall being wide enough to accommodate three fairies walking shoulder to shoulder and rooms that could comfortably accommodate tens of fairies each. Much of the furniture was intricately carved wood with some of it being made from semi precious stones. Including a dining room table made from polished garnet and cups crafted from silver. One of these silver cups Agon filled with juice before taking a slice of jerky and making his way back into the far more sturdily built workshop. Lily had yet to respond but he still settled down before the terminal and brought up the recent news to search for her name. Nothing appeared in major articles but there was plenty mentioning her in others. And the first one that drew his attention featured her squeezing through The Timber’s entrance. “The world’s youngest titan decided to visit The Timber. A mixed species club in Egrev who was apparently less prepared for her than their owners expected. This was not enough to stop the young woman who even took the time to widen the entrance for them much to the surprise of customers and staff alike. Some of which had a much closer encounter with her than others with one finding himself lost in the depths of her cleavage.” “Anyone that big should not be able to move that fast. I like The Timber, you can meet all sorts of people there but there is a space for everyone. Well, she takes up all of that space. We were getting ready to leave when she arrived so we were heading towards the exit. Then she stands up and before I know what’s happening I’m trapped between her breasts. It felt like I was going to be crushed.” There was a slight snort from Agon as he rolled his eyes. He hadn’t been between Lily’s breasts, yet, but he’d interacted with them extensively and knew them to be fine and gentle ladies even when playful. That he might be biased didn’t occur to him as he continued to read through the article while enjoying his snack. “I’ve danced with giants before and it was a thrill, but having a true titan on the floor with you was a rush. The winds would change whenever she’d move, a few times it felt like I’d be blown away by her breasts alone! Just feeling that power was such a thrill. I’m not sure who she was there with but I hope that she comes back.” “Ookay. I was just dancing on the breasts you were flying around. And I don’t seem to be named anywhere in this entire article.” As he scrolled through the article Agon found himself actually grinning. None of the people had been paying attention to who Lily was there with. He had just vanished onto her body and into her presence. This didn’t trouble him but it left him wondering how many of her dates had a similar realization as he began copying many of the pictures taken. There were some very good ones from ground level. “I can not change the manaform without unraveling the entire spell. Thank you Agon, I would have continued putting effort into using a spell incorrectly instead of realizing its proper use. I will have to start my memory enhancement spellwork over. After I finish with the memory remover.” “I’d be glad to help with the memory enhancer.” It was an odd mix of sensation. He didn’t like disappointing her but he was pleased to be thanked and save her from a mistake. “Helping me learn to resist the memory eraser would be better. You mentioned having trouble with spells that make use of more than fifteen manaforms or have six planes. Would you be capable of using the memory eraser on me repeatedly?” He froze for a moment and thought back to the spell. Even without trying to cast it he could feel the drain on his mana reserves and became more tense. There were no sixth planar manaforms but handling twenty five of them with his mana reserves would still be a problem. “I can cast it a few times but it would not be combat effective.” “What if you use crafting equipment to assist you?” The question felt so strange. One didn’t use tools meant for enchanting or magic assisted crafting in combat. They were simply too delicate and expensive for such purposes. But Lily wouldn’t be posing an active threat to him. “That would help a lot. I’ll even buy some premium tools to help out. The ones I have on hand are a bit aged, made more for durability and it’s about time I upgraded.” “Good. I’ll buy the tools and you can try erasing my memory during our next date.” “There is no need. I should have upgraded a year or two ago and they’ll be of more use to me than they would you.” “I am the reason you need them and I suspect will call upon you far more often than you realize.” “No way, you didn’t let me buy dinner for you last night. I’m going to cover my own crafting tools.” Saying that would have been a lot harder if she’d been here in person. As he thought about defying Lily while underneath her gaze or even upon her body a slight chill moved through him. This only made him more determined to do so while he had some distance. “You must be eager to try different lines on me without consequences to so eagerly spend drops.” Several seconds had to pass in which he simply smiled at the screen.. “I had not considered that! Now I’m even more certain this is the right decision. But why do you want me to use such a spell against you?” “So that I may learn to resist it and similar effects.” “Did you not already achieve that by resisting the monster’s original dazing effect?” Careful, you don’t want her to believe you’re trying to shake her. “No. This is far more effective.” “Considering how well designed the spell is I’d believe it. Do you practice resisting other spell effects?” “Yes but I don’t speak of such things. Couple that with the belief I rely purely on my resistance as a titan and such knowledge is naturally suppressed. I have also imbibed poisons, various drugs and alchemical solutions to train my body.” And she’s telling me this. She hadn’t praised him directly but the simple declaration that she didn’t speak of such things immediately satisfied Agon. “Who normally tries the spells on you?” “More often than not my parents have been the ones to assist me. I’ve also kept several monsters alive for prolonged periods to serve as a source of stimulation.” He flinched and even felt a moment of fear at the second sentence. Being caged and used as a source of spellcraft was a fear many fairies had and past experience showed it was not unfounded. Fortunately he didn’t have any sympathy for monsters. Part of him still wished she’d left that part out despite knowing she often ate monsters alive. “Finally! Someone found a way to get some actual good out of monsters.” “Thank you. Perhaps we can even uncover a way to expand upon the memory eraser effects so that unpleasant memories could be removed. There are a few things I wish to unsee.” “I know the feeling, there are a few embarrassing memories I could do without but they refuse to be forgotten. But I don’t get the feeling that this spell is suited to that kind of expansion. It feels more likely that a booster would increase the number of targets it would be able to influence.” ************************************* Lily felt some disappointment as she looked at one of her notebooks. Several changes had been made to the memory retention spell, now revised to the memory eraser. Despite being pleased with their new discovery having something she’d put so much effort into fail its original purpose stung. However, she delighted in having a cute partner who shared her interest in spellcraft even though they used different approaches to their research. He hadn’t even mentioned it being strange for someone who can’t cast spells to be so interested in them. Instead of being turned away by my size he finds it attractive, we share a common interest in spellcraft, he’s pleasant to be with and willing to put effort into helping me. This relationship might actually work out. As the thought ran through her mind Lily played with her now empty tea cup. She wanted to know more about those embarrassing moments Agon had mentioned but knew better than to directly ask about them when she couldn't even loom over him. |
