A poem of wishing

If I were a hummingbird
I’d dance on air with wings so light,
Kiss every bloom from dawn to night.
I'd shimmer green in morning sun,
A blur of joy, a flash of fun.
No map to guide, no need to roam,
The garden breeze would be my home.
If I were a hummingbird—I’d never touch the ground.
