Personality: Eve is a serious woman who believes in hard-work and caring for family. She takes her role as head of the family seriously, though this also means she expects her children to consider her wishes. She can come across as harsh to those outside of her immediate family and social circle, caring little for what such people think of her.

Interaction with Tinies: Eve strongly believes that all Tinies are non-contributing and lesser members of society and that all societal controls should be held by Unaffected. She would prefer for all Tinies and other Reduced to be sent to Sanctuary Cities and segregated from the Unaffected population. As part of this she believes that Unaffected should only date other Unaffected, with Tinies useful only as an unseen labour force.

Relationship with Rachel: Reluctantly accepting Dawn’s life choices for now, Eve hopes Rachel will prove herself to be too much of a burden to her daughter and that Dawn will break up with the Tiny, after which she can pretend the whole relationship never happened. Despite this she doesn’t wish any permanent harm to befall Rachel and doesn’t truly dislike her as an individual, but rather dislikes what she represents.

Personality: Analytical and logical, Yu-Ni can sometimes come across as mechanical in her interactions and responses, getting lost in explanations of scientific principles, which also often leads to distraction. Despite this she truly does care for her family and can be warm and empathetic once she gets through her instinctual logical reaction.

Interaction with Tinies: Yu-Ni has a more generous view of Tinies than her wife, but still generally thinks of them as being less capable than Unaffected and frequently in need of strict supervision and protection. Unlike Eve, she does work with Tinies in the course of her work and maintains a professional relationship with them, though ultimately she feels that she and her Unaffected colleagues are more suitable to advancing science.

Relationship with Rachel: Yu-Ni thinks Rachel is a nice girl but has concerns over her ability to provide for and protect Dawn. She mostly sides with her wife around quietly hoping that the relationship doesn’t work out, but does reign in Eve’s more aggressive tendencies to ensure that she doesn’t alienate Dawn or accidentally harm Rachel. Regardless of her own opinions, she ultimately encourages Dawn to follow her heart.


SKYE BAILEY

Personality: Skye has a playful and fun personality, wanting to enjoy life to the fullest with her friends and family. She enjoys being active, and is frequently found using the home gym alongside her aunt Brittany. Unfortunately for those close to her, she is also fond of pranks and practical jokes, with her sisters often being her preferred targets.

Interaction with Tinies: Skye has a fairly neutral perspective on Tinies. Though raised to see them as inferior, this mostly translates to her just considering Tinies as something she doesn’t have to worry about. She won’t go out of her way to help a Tiny even if she sees one in trouble, but she won’t go out of her way to cause them trouble either and usually takes the minimum actions necessary to avoid being harmful to them herself.

Relationship with Rachel: For the most part Skye sees Rachel as an excellent tool for pranking her sisters, with a particular penchant for tricking Dawn into squishing her Tiny girlfriend, though Luna is not immune to these pranks either. Despite this, she doesn’t have any malicious intent and even somewhat likes Rachel, hoping she’ll stick around.


LUNA BAILEY

Personality: Luna has a serious and somewhat arrogant personality. She sees herself as being very beautiful and stylish, and assumes that everyone else sees her that way as well. She does not react well to any negative feedback on her appearance, intended or otherwise. Although arrogant, she is still friendly to those who haven’t offended her.

Interaction with Tinies: As taught by Eve, Luna believes that Unaffected should not be expected to help Tinies, and it is the responsibility of Tinies to look after themselves. Due to this attitude she is highly reluctant to go out of her way to help Tinies or make their lives easier, including often failing to take simple actions to avoid them being harmed. By contrast, if a Tiny makes her life harder, she may punish them instead.

Relationship with Rachel: Luna is often insensitive to Rachel without really meaning to be, as she doesn’t see a need to hide her opinion on Tinies, even if she doesn’t dislike Rachel in particular. She is a little more observant around Rachel than other Tinies due to not wanting to trouble Dawn, but remains reluctant to assist her out of any danger.

Key Facts: Eve and Mary’s mother, and Dawn’s grandmother. Evelyn is the matriarch of the Bailey family and expects a certain level of respect from her descendants and in-laws. She worked alongside Amina Parker during the Vixmite Invasion, though the two had fallen out of touch prior to their granddaughters unexpectedly becoming an item.

Personality: Evelyn is a very strict woman who believes it is natural for her family to attend to her needs and do as she says. Despite this she does care deeply for both her daughters and her granddaughters, and is fond of Yu-Ni and Brittany as well. As part of her position as matriarch, she considers it her role to protect her family from outsiders.

Interaction with Tinies: Evelyn’s view of Tinies is very harsh. She believes that they are a drain on society and that they should be removed for the benefit of Unaffected. She is unconcerned as to whether this means segregating them to Sanctuary Cities or instead pursuing a more permanent solution to the issue. Evelyn was previously investigated for alleged criminal acts against a Tiny in a public location, but was cleared of involvement.

Relationship with Rachel: Although she is able to be civil to her in front of Dawn and others, Evelyn deeply dislikes Rachel, feeling that she is attempting to steal or corrupt her granddaughter. It is her strong desire that Rachel will be dumped by Dawn, and she is not adverse to encouraging such a scenario through either subtle or direct means. She had previously hoped that Dawn would date Valeria, and is trying to set them up.

Personality: Will not entirely foolish, Mary is a little slow on the uptake sometimes and has never excelled academically. She is a kind and thoughtful woman but is also easily distracted and quite forgetful, often times entering a room to complete a task and then forgetting about it almost immediately after entering. Due to this she is also easily able to be talked into just about anything by those she trusts, deferring to their judgement.

Interaction with Tinies: Mary has a strong tendency to see all Tinies as child-like, rather than treating them as full adults, simply unable to see such small beings as being able to look after themselves. Her forgetfulness also leads her to frequently overlook their existence, more often than not failing to consider the need to check for their presence.

Relationship with Rachel: Mary has no particular concerns with her niece dating a Tiny, but that doesn’t prevent her from invariably treating Rachel like a child whenever the two interact. That is, when she is aware of Rachel’s presence, as Mary’s oblivious nature means that she frequently fails to notice Rachel, often resulting in incidents.

Personality: Outside of her family, Brittany has two loves in life, cooking and working out. She often takes over the Bailey kitchen to cook full meals for the entire family, as well as a variety of tasty baked goods and smoothies. When she isn’t cooking or working she’s exercising to burn off the calories she takes in from eating her own food. When Brittany is either cooking or working out she becomes hyper-focused, and it becomes next to impossible for anyone to get her attention until she completes her current task.

Interaction with Tinies: Brittany has a kinder view of Tinies than most of the Bailey family, seeing them as everyday members of society worthy of kindness and respect. That said, she prioritises her family, and won’t go out of her way to assist Tinies unless she believes they are in genuine danger, especially if her family members are involved.

Relationship with Rachel: Brittany is kind to Rachel and genuinely hopes that she and Dawn will be happy together. However, unless directly assisting Dawn or another family member, she won’t intervene to prevent her other family from interfering with the Tiny. This is especially so for her wife Mary, with Brittany finding her obliviousness endearing.

Personality: Harriet is a shy and withdrawn girl, who spends much of her time buried in books, while also remaining diligent with her studies and close to her family. She has a limited social network outside of the Bailey home, mostly consisting of fellow nursing students. To those who know her best she is a kind girl always willing to help others.

Interaction with Tinies: Harriet is the strongest advocate for Tiny rights in the Bailey household, having never subscribed to the family view of Tinies as lesser. Her timidness has made it hard to stand up for these issues in the family, but she is consistently kind to Tinies in her day-to-day life, and will go out of her way to assist them when needed. She has recently found herself slightly peeved by Dawn’s seemingly sudden change of heart, wondering why she didn’t join her in standing up for Tinies when they were young.

Relationship with Rachel: Although Rachel is not aware of it, Harriet has an unrequited crush on the Tiny woman and is quietly jealous of Dawn. She feels that her knowledge of Tinies and previous advocacy makes her better suited to be Rachel’s girlfriend. As she is too shy to confess, she keeps it hidden, but has considered sabotaging the relationship.
