Spirituality is a way of life

Visit the church, the temple, the synagogue
The gurudwara, the masjid
Sing hymns in praise, bow down in prayer
Seek blessings and do as you are bid

But remember, spirituality is lived here on earth
At home, at work, at play
Be kind, stay courageous, stay true to yourself
It's about how you spend each day.

Good deeds go beyond the four walls
Good words aren't just in song
Do what you can to ease someone's way
Whose path is tough and road is long.

Read the Bible, the Koran, the Gita, The Granth-Sahib
Let the peace of the pages end world strife
Spirituality goes beyond space and time
It is a chosen way of life.
