a poem that captures that fleeting, relentless nature of time |
| Time, Unapologetic Time does not knock. It slips through the cracks while you’re still catching your breath. It does not pause for grief, for joy, for hesitation. It doesn’t linger to apologize for the moments it steals. It comes in sunrises you weren’t ready for, in goodbyes you weren’t expecting, in memories that ache long after the voices fade. Time doesn’t ask permission. It doesn’t wait for consent. It moves, unstoppable, a river that swallows everything yet leaves the reflection behind. We try to hold it, pin it down in pictures, words, promises. But time does not stay. It does not bend. It only flows— and leaves us to learn how to float with it, how to bend, how to let go without regret. |
