Vickie M. Oliver-Lawson is a retired public school administrator, poet and author from Baltimore, MD. She is the author of two collections of poetry and two books written for children. Her tilles include: Vocal Moments (2003), In the Quilting Tradition (2005), Assata and the Secret of the Cowrie (2008) and Timeless Influences (2009). She is a graduate of Morgan State University and Loyola College. Vickie is available for booksignings, readings, booktalks and workshops.
