Okavango Wave

The mysterious signal was a volt from underground

The voltage from the seismometer
Triggered a digital signal
And the p wave from Goodhope
Gave us earthquake triangulation;

Like a mercury thermometer -
Outdated - our team took its pivotal
Flight to the airstrip to cope
With the intraplate aqua situation;

The Okavango Rift Zone was active,
When breathless bursts of unexpected force
shook the leaves of dried-out plants-
And this they called a six point five.

I felt vibrations - they call me sensitive,
Too flighty to understand the source-
And I felt that sound science was evidence
it’s sensational to survive.
