Love hurts even we think it won’t we still feel the burn of its flame.

Love is a wildfire dressed up as light,
a warmth you chase even knowing the burn.
It whispers stay, then slips out of sight,
leaving lessons you never asked to learn.

It builds you up with trembling hands,
then breaks you open just as fast.
A promise etched in shifting sands—
beautiful, fragile, never meant to last.

Yet still we reach with tender scars,
hoping this time it will feel less cursed.
Because even when it shatters our hearts,
love is the one pain we choose to nurse.
