Prompt from Writing Resources - Two four line poems about your muse.1- rhymes 1-doesn't

Muse is dormant in my soul, but for a knock at its door

He pulls my heart to the bowels when he feels ignored

Muse is a sleepy passenger who knows the secret route

He awakens miles in, so I press on, or Muse passes out

The muse is like a little kid who whines outside the door

When you’re older and have outgrown the silly games

Muse makes believe with us, so our minds play with hope

But a forlorn muse will stay in bed while logic kills the dream
