A blog about my blogs on a Thirsty Thursday for Bard's Hall
67 degrees at midnight!

It's warm inside.

64 mild degrees at 8:43 means it never cooled down overnight. I saw the pink predawn but went back to bed.

A day-old almond pastry at Butterfly Herbs. Sat with Kathi, Willie, David, Ben, Monte, Laxmi. Nothing in my p.o. box. Visited the new library for the first time. Got out travel books on Eastern Europe and Greece. Due July 1st.

85 hot degrees at 1:44.

I'm still encouraging folks to enter

JULY: Best of the Losers Wins!

I shouldn't bleat about bloggers without encouraging them.

So...

A blog about my blogs on a Thirsty Thursday

1. Blogging is a good back-up on dreary daze.

I use this blog "Porthole [13+] as a journal or diary. It records the drear of my daze. The weather. My friends. Scrambled pig's brains.

It's boring most daze... just like me. And... just like you-all! Not all daze = equal.

Why bother? It's good to write e.v.e.r.y day. Whether on paper or here, it's a bad habit that may lead to a Pulitzer Prize. Or even better... a certain sense of who you are.

2. I'm opinionated. Best I record them here "O Pinions! [XGC] and not elaborate. It allows me to slice-and-dice and not worry about what YOU may think. Although... please leave a comment if you disagree.

3. When I'm really steamed, worried or frightened I can let it out in "Hoarfrosts from Hell [GC]. Even restrict those who have access to it. I have some fears now that I may need to post this week. *Sad*

4. But it's always necessary to stop and pet the bees. I don't like being stung but I do shove flowers up my nose. Lilacs and irises are in season. *Bigsmile* This use to be Melinda McClain's favorite blog. "Nurture your Nature [13+] She was a gentle horselady who was a WdC member. She died years ago.

5. I started writing about my daily adventures when I was homeless. I started my first blog in 2005 soon after I joined. "L'aura del Campo [13+] The early entries are the best and at 105,000+ views it's one of the leading blogs here. It reached an old limit and went on hiatus and then reopened in spurts. I use it as my p-log (poetry-blog) now. I write in it quite often. My recent serenades (sunset poems) I've scratched on notepads will need to be entered, edited and numbered.

6. My second blog took over. "Enga mellom fjella [13+] I was 'homed' again, started traveling, moved to Montana, and traveled internationally. It became a mixed blog. I mostly write my stories there. Many a contest offering is sketched out here before becoming its own static item.

X. "Flash Fiction [GC] is not a blog. It's a folder for my 200+ flash fictions. I'm book-bound, so if I want to start another book/blog I need to delete or repurpose one. A folder works for well for short-stories. Snce I'm almost item-bound the lowest rated could possibly be printed out and the on-line version deleted.

7. I have traveled to over 40 countries and hundreds of places in the last 10 years. So I started "On The Write Path [13+]. Unfortunately, I don't blog much when I travel and this poor blog feels neglected. Due to image restrictions, my chromebook limitations... my lack of discipline... it has never reached its potential of becoming a true t-log (travel-blog).

8. I did a newsletter once titled "Watt's Gnus" so... I started this. "Watt's Gnus [18+] The premise is to take a headline and article and rant, refute, come up with a rational essay ... (me... rational? *Laugh*).

So that's me blogs in a hazelnutshell.

Now that that's outta mah system... it's 86 degrees outside, and hotter inside, at 2:40 and Imma gonna find sumptin' else ta do.

Thunder, lightning, action! RAIN. *DropB* Big splats. 88 degrees at 3:30 pm.
